Good product

Bought to replaced an old failed GE microwave. This mirowave is working great so far. The only issue is the mounting bracket and instruction was a little confusing.

Previous GE microwave was purchased in 2000 and was great. The new one is not even close to the same quality. Extremely noisy. Hate it. Wished I had bought a different one.

Poor Design on Top Vent Openings

After installation, I immediately noticed that the top of the unit has large open vent holes right where the cabinet shelving above extends. This creates a real problem — if something small falls out of the overhead cabinet, it can drop directly into these openings. Retrieving it would be nearly impossible and very frustrating. Sleek modern design.

The control features are simple and easy to use. Ventilation is great! The white interior makes it easy to see inside while cooking and the light is great!!!!!! The capacity is perfect!

4 year appliance

User Friendly with Great Design Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Large capacity for streamlined appliance. The controls are easy to learn and the sensor feature helps keep you from overcooking. No more wrinkly potatoes. It has a nice lighting and venting feature, and it took about 15 minutes to unpack it, have the installation team get it up under the stove and working. I've always loved GE appliances and it looks like I still love the brand.

Good quality over range microwave.

This one is the updated version of the last one and we have high hopes. Our fridge is GE also and it has been great. Installed the microwave myself with my 92 year old father. Instructions recommend 2 people and I agree! Not complicated, but definite need to be precise and it is too heavy for one person.
