Great microwave

SHORT LIFE!

Thought I bought a quality product from GE. This microwave lasted less than 3 years. Have had to 'reset' it several times thru the 3 years, not exactly what you expect from a GE product. Microwave runs, but does not heat. Will not be buying any more GE products.

I am not happy with not receiving an owners manual. We are in our 80's and an owners manual to help us understand how to operate the new microwave and a reference for use is a necessity .

Love it!

It's a beautiful microwave and I can't wait to figure it all out. There are so many things it can do.

Great device if use to heating and reheating stuff

Actually we love this product in an earlier iteration. The model numbers are the same but this device is bigger. Not a bad thing,but, when store delivered tech. Had to modify placement and former device was vented to outside. This new device leaks air into kitchen along with grease and what else precipitates from microwaving.

Fast Installation

Workers came and replaced our microwave, very fast and sufficient, no complaints at all!

Poor workmanship

Mute feature

The microwave operates ok . However I personally think the touch buttons are placed in an awkward sequence and confusing and I don’t like how much plastic it has.

Like it better than the previous GE microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I like it. This microwave replaced a previous GE Profile unit that made controls built into the face of the door. The 24 gauge (very small) wires all broke. I repaired the wires. I also see that they have changed the design. I didn't want to spend the money to replace the door. I t cost more to do so than purchasing the whole unit. And you have to buy the whole door assembly. I believe that the electronics fried on the old unit. Also not...

Get a different microwave!

Just purchased this microwave. Got the same one I had thinking it would be the same quality, boy was I wrong. The first one died after under 8 years, btw. This oven feels very cheap, could tell the difference right away! The door is flimsy and slams hard and noisily. The plate sits up about an 1" off the floor vs flat to the bottom like the last one. WHY? Can catch your bowl or plate on the edge easily. The existing brackets didn't work, had to drill and use new ones. WHY? Very disappointed!...

Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking microwave. It replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool. Controls will take some getting use to (entirely expected) It fit the old space exactly and the mounting holes were even close. Had to cut two spacer blocks for leveling, but not all will.
