Mostly good

Construction was simpler than most other things I've assembled. Some of the connections weren't spaced quite right and were very hard to secure. Other than that, it has been working very well and gets very hot. It does seem to turn on and off with random inputs from the tv remote but I'm not too bothered by it.

One Star Is Too Much!!!!!

Read reviews, had to take apart fireplace three times and ended up gluing the rod to he holder. It falls out again and again (the part that makes the fire look like its burning)In order to get this out (good luck) you need to take out the three screws on each side of the front. Realize there are 3000 screws in this unit and when you get the front off now comes the fun part. The actual plastic log is screwed in also as well as being taped. You will never get this back in the first time. Also note...

Beautiful unit, but it has issues.

We purchased this unit a little over a week ago, it is a beautiful piece of furniture and the wood portion is very solid. I took my time assembling the unit so I exceeded the estimated 30 minute assembly time by choice. During assembly and early use I experienced many of the issues other have described. The wood stain like odor was strong but was gone within a day or two. Some of the bolts, however, were not long enough to reach the threaded inserts without removing one of the washers first....

great customer support!

We bought this fireplace for our rustic themed house, got home put it together and it worked perfectly! A few minutes later we were disappointed to see the flickering of the lights went out and were left with just a still flame. We figured maybe turning it off and then back on would fix the problem, but that did not work. We ended up calling the customer support number and they explained how to fix it and it is just like new! They were so helpful and even called back to make sure we got it worki...

No operating instructions

As other reviews state, this takes more than 30 minutes to put together. We also had trouble with bolts and had to leave out one washer for some. The stickers on the wood are difficult to remove and most were in places that show so there is residue showing. There are no instructions for operating. Found one online but it was not helpful. Our biggest issue is turning on the heat. We have yet to figure out how to get it to STAY on. The wifi connection is useless. It will only connect to 2.4 GHz . ...

Absolute Junk!

The quality of the wood is good, but the actual insert is horrible. It turns on at random. The remote for the fireplace and the remote for our tv cross each other, so when we turn the volume down on our tv it turns the temperature down on the fireplace. The "sticker" for the fake brick background is bubbling after less than a month. As far as TV stands go, it's fine, but the heating insert is garbage.

Bought this on 11/2/2019, issue the flames worked when we got it, now they don't. Beautiful, but broke

Temp sensor not working

Bought this as my wife Christmas gift. She had been wanting one for a while and really liked the look of this unit. It does look good and was easy to assemble. Flame looks good as well and so far no issue it that part. The wifi will not stay connected and continues to drop the connection. The sensor in the temp control doesn't work and says room temp is at 80 and turns the heat off when it's only 66 in the room. Have attempted to contact company with no sucess.

Flame affect stopped

Literally bought and set this fireplace up tonight, the flame affect worked for all of 5 minutes. I was so very excited about, as Christmas is approaching and we have children. Now I am left with a fireplace that doesn’t have a ‘fire’ affect.

beautiful tv stand, crappy fireplace

Thought this was the cabinet of our dreams. Took more then 30 minutes to put together, but was not that difficult. Took our time so we wouldn't have the problems other people had. The fireplace work for about 6 minutes, turned off and would not come back on, so much for our dreams. I never got it to sync with my wifi.

Just put the fireplace together today and we love it! Fireplace looks great and warms up the room nicely. Very nice piece.

Wonderful build quality, fireplace broke

The fire effect in the fireplace stopped working about an hour into use. It still lights up, just no flame effect. Everything else about the unit is wonderful. I paid for the unit, but I can't uncheck the box saying it was free

Not working

From the beginning everything was great! Great fireplace and great furniture. After few days only fireplace stop working and I don't know what to do I was trying everything.. I was happy and know I am so so angry!!
