Awful

This piece is the worst junk that you can get. First it came scratch second the heating element didn’t work and third the premade holes didn’t line up eather. Don’t wasted your time getting this.

Insert doesn't work

We bought it, the insert didn't work. They replaced the insert, it only sometimes works. It will randomly turn off and refuse to turn back on.

nice surround, cheap fireplace insert

The fireplace surround is really nice with actual wood instead of the cheap flake-board. I was concerned with the fireplace not being able to heat up the 1000’ sq.ft. like it says. It doesnt heat up that much but does take the chill out of the air. I would have rated a 4 or 5 but the fireplace insert seems cheap. The flame effect stopped working after the 3rd time using it. Just what I wanted

We bought this on Black Friday and have enjoyed it almost daily for 3 months. The heater warms up our living room nicely and the flames are one of the more realistic ones we’ve seen. We have found some quirks with the remote, if I turn the fireplace on and then use the tv cable remote the fireplace turns off. Falls Apart

I purchased this as a "display". I found out that when they build it in the store they left pieces out. I found a few dowel locations that were missing dowels and the right panel "No-tool Assembly Hardware" doesn't tighten. I think the base is stripped where it goes in. It's very unstable, but it's now impossible to lift it up without it falling apart. This is my second FEBO fireplace. The first one was difficult to build (3 hours) and the stickers are nearly impossible to remove.

Beautiful Flames

I would have given 5 stars if my tv remote didn’t randomly turn this on and off and change settings. Overall fireplace didn’t take long to assemble but I did have to shorten a couple dowels to set the right aide outer panel correctly. Beautiful flame options to choose from and heats our large living room well.

looks good

Purchased new in box. Put it together with no issues. The flames came on and look great. The heater came on for a few minutes then shut off and wont come back on. Thermostat is set higher than room temp. I have unpluggedmit amd tried again. Didnt work. Waiting on reply from manufacturer

Just finished assembling this item and it went together rather well. Two things I would change in the instruction guide. (1) The back rail should be instructed to be installed with the magnets facing to the back of the console. There is no instruction as to which side goes where. (2) The door handles should be installed prior to the installation of the doors. Much easier to access. Other than those 2 items, I'm very pleased with the looks and the operation of it.

Fireplace / mantel unit

We purchased this today on clearance. New in box, not opened. Together it is a beautiful piece. The instructions are terrible. The wooden dowel pins way too small. The unit is not held together by much of anything, a few tiny metal pieces that our a quarter of turn. Solid wood construction is wrong. The upright panels are made of pressed wood that don't really hold together too well at the connecting spots. It is a heavy piece that you CAN NOT pick up and move by the top. Disappointed

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and we had it assembled at the store so I have nothing negative to say about the assembly or quality of the piece. My complaint is with the heat factor. We have this in a 12x12 room and there is no way it will heat it. The heating element and fan blow straight up and will actually move our ceiling fan but it takes hours for the heat to get from the ceiling down to where we are sitting. It is a major disappointment since it says can heat so much larger space...

Looks great, functional, sturdy

THe visual appearance of the fureplace is stunning. We’ve had it for almost 3 months and are still in love with it. It is very durable. I have two kids who are always messing with snd they havent broken it yet. I hesitatedbuying bc a review talked sbout the eletrical blower and app. Im proud to say that the app works just fine. looks great, works poorly

Very appealing to the eye, but as far as the heater goes it is not worth a dime. The fireplace comes on for a few minutes then shuts off and begins flashing an e3 code. I tried to contact customer service twice with no response and also sent email through the febo email link. We have had the unit for less than a week now and have not been able to even use it. I would not recommend this to anyone. Please take my advice and look for a different manufacturer.

Broke after two days

The fireplace broke after two days. It no longer heats and the lights inside the glass broke. The stand looks very nice, but its not sturdy. Once built it cannot be moved or it will fall apart. The pieces are just held on with a bolt that you twist. The remote for the fireplace is non-responsive.

Very warm and nice looking

I bought this Fireplace a few weeks ago and over the Christmas holiday my HVAC unit went out. I used this Fireplace to heat my entire house for a week. I live in North Carolina so it is never really cold but the unit kept us toasty until the HVAC could be replaced. The unit had a strong smell for the first few days after being assembled. Flame Stopped Working

Save your money and your time. Bought two weeks ago. Maybe used it twice before the flame effects stopped working. Taking back to the store for a refund or purchase a different manufactuer. When you first put the unit together it is unstable until you attach the corner brackets. You would think for the price that it would actually last a while. If they sold these for around $50, that is what it’s actually worth.

It is perfect!

Took nearly 2 hours to assemble despite clear instructions and well labeled pieces. But there were no scratches no dents no dings, well packed in the box. It puts off more heat than I expected it to. Doesn’t look cheap or fake. We have really nice solid wood furniture in our living room and this piece looks like it belongs and we should have done it years ago. What a dissapointment!

Got as a Christmas gift. Was super excited to get to use it after my boyfriend and father spent a lot of time putting together and carrying it upstairs. Not even an hour into using it the flame stopped working. Right after that the heat stopped working. Tried getting a hold of customer service and that was a joke. Then called Lowes only to be transferred to a bunch of different people, none of which were helpful. Steer clear of this piece of junk. Would give 0 stars if I could!

Purchased two months ago and as another review stated my flame effect also stopped working... Seeing the reviews I’m always shocked when a company lime Lowe’s carries junk like this.
