WAnd was loose when we unpacked it and just fell out after about 5 minutes of working properly; when i tried to open the back as suggested in the instructions, i discovered that the front comes off not the back. The back has 12 screws snd the sides have another 7 screws and the cord sticks out one sids so no way of getting into it except the front. Looks nice, heater quality is poor

I purchased this unit about one month ago. Assembly took about two hours. The washers provided are not the right size and we had to leave one off in order to assemble the unit. We also did not install one back panel for ease of access for cord management. The console itself is decent, it looks nice. After using the heater, the weird smell faded and was unnoticeable. Looks amazing

After reading negative reviews I took a leap of faith with this product and glad I did. The smell is the stain and it goes away within a few days. The wood dowels and no-tool assembly hardware make putting it together easy. The key is to not tighten bolts on the assembly until you put the top frame on. Looks great just doesn't work.

Had trouble with bolts finally had to leave a washer off in order get bolt in. Once together looks very nice, fireplace looks great when it works. Was not able to get wife to connect. Fireplace heat turned on for about 2 minutes and will not work now. Flames were dancing and rotating at first and they have quit working now too. I have had it for 5 days and seems to be broken. I go to register it and when that ask for purchase date the years only go to 2018, last I checked it was 2019.

Good company

We bought this fireplace several weeks ago. We started to put it together and the bolts did not fit. It became frustrating as this kept happening over and over. I contacted the company and they were extremely understanding and helpful. They even contacted me later to let me know my feedback was helpful in correcting the issues. Definitely a good company!

Horribly made

So I unpacked this excited to put it together and enjoy my fake fireplace.... wrong! The minute I unwrapped everything it smelt like chemicals. Directions say 30 min assembly time, that’s a joke. I should have quit when the 3rd bolt proved to be the wrong fit. I kept going in hopes that it would come together nicely after that. Solid Piece

I picked this up to go in my upstairs office and am very impressed with the quality and look of this piece. It has options to change the look of the flame and also has various heat settings. I bought it more for the look than anything and needed a stand sturdy enough to support an older 58 inch plasma tv that weighs 130lbs. This does the job nicely and looks great while doing it! You can't go wrong with this piece of furniture.
