Use with 10amp battery from my mower. Don't notice the weight on my back and my arms don't get tired using the edger and trimmer. I'm 77 and have about an hour of edging and trimming . I haven't done it all at one time in years.

Would RecommendThe backpack works great to lighten the equpiment I had the same issue some people had at first but it was only because I did not snap the link into the unit that are using all the way. But figured that out right away. Anyone having the issue of it stopping just needs to make sure it is connected the right way to the ego device. It needs to be pushed in with a little force, not much but it can't just be plug in lightly

I like the flexibility to use multiple tools with a 10amp battery, comfortably on my back without swinging around the tool with the extra weight. Hedge trimmer, blower, and even multitool are easier to wield for a longer [period of time.

BackPack: Initial Contact Problem Resolved
Comfortable, and I suppose that is the point of the investment. Initial use included insufficient connection being made and the power cutting off. Yes this was frustrating. I watched a YouTube video about a relay being the potential problem. My thought was that the relay was stiff and was ejecting the battery out of making sufficient operational conttact. Would Recommendso, this is awesome to have in addition to all my ego lawn equipment. i can attach the 10AH battery and use the edger, trimmer, and blower on one go without having to tote around that really heavy battery. the only draw back is where the chest strap is. it is really high up and digs into the arm pits. and for my wife, it straps right over the chest area, which all women know that position will quickly hurt. so for women, the chest strap cannot be used and without that puts a little extra strain ...
