Keeps the weight off your hand

I use the backpack link with my EGO 765 CFM blower. I match the blower up with my EGO 7.5 AH battery which weighs 4.6 pounds. Combined with the blower the total weight is 9.2 pounds which is a fair amount of weight to wield with one hand especially if you have any level of arthritis in your hand or even worse, carpal tunnel syndrome. Love the backpack!

This is a worthwhile addition to my growing collection of EGO tools and implements. I enjoy using it with the blower, but it also plays well with the rest of my EGO tools. So nice to carry the weight of the battery on my back. It does make it impossible to monitor how much charge is left in the battery, but that's a minor inconvenience. The backpack fits well and feels secure when I'm working with it. Thanks for designing another great and versatile product.

Not made for women with a bust!

I received this backpack as a holiday gift (my request!), along with the Ego hedge trimmer and am rating the backpack as 4 stars for now based on light weight and expected performance this spring. I already have the 56v battery and weed wacker, which I love. I am a 5'2" woman and was very disappointed by the design of this backpack. The chest strap is adjustable for length BUT is stitched in place so it runs right across the middle of my chest-very tight and very uncomfortable. So I will add ...

Easy to use and gives my arms a break from hauling the blower

Saves my arms

I use the backpack with my handheld EGO blower. I use a larger battery with the blower which makes it heavy. The backpack makes it much easier to use, and I can get a lot more work completed.

Great add on for my leaf blower

Arm-Saving Power Source

This is a helpful option that I hoped someone would develop and EGO delivered! The Backpack Link allows me to move the weight of the battery away from the tool and onto my back where it is far less burdensome. I can pop in a 10 AH battery, plug the link into the EGO tool I want to use, and focus on the task at hand without my arm getting tired quickly or swapping batteries frequently.

Try it, you’ll like it.

Lightweight, takes the load and strain off your arms. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Only downside is it could benefit from an improved harness design. I still love it, though.

Didn’t work out of the box and I had to return it. Disappointing.

Simple, comfortable, convenient

I mostly use it for the power head and hedger. Comfortable and simple to use as any other ego product. Perfect when you need to use a bigger battery to not have to carry the weight.
