What Customers Are Saying
The backpack accessory effectively distributes the weight of the power tool battery, making the tools more comfortable and easier to control during prolonged use. Reviewers noted it significantly reduces fatigue in the arms, wrists, and shoulders, enabling extended runtime, especially with larger batteries. While a few users had minor complaints, the overall sentiment was highly positive, with many considering the backpack a valuable addition that greatly improves the ergonomics and usability of the power tools.

Would RecommendBought this for my son, who has taken over trimming and edging duties this year (he passed mowing down to his younger brother, and I got promoted to supervisor :) ). He said it makes a huge improvement in weight compared to the 5 AH batteries.

Use the backpack....saves your strength
Would RecommendGreat, I like it. Just used it for the first time this morning. Used it for hedges, trimmer and blower. Worked fine although adaptor more difficult to release from backpack than releasing the battery from tools. Also, cord leading from backpack to adaptor could be a few inches longer.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do!
Would RecommendI debated for a long time about whether I should get the backpack link but in the end I broke down and decided to go for it. The whole premise is to take the weight off of the end of the trimmer, blower, edger, hedge trimmer... and it does exactly that. Works better with the bigger batteries as that is where the weight will really get you if you don't have it. I didn't really even notice wearing the backpack, it is pretty lightweight even with a heavy battery on it as it sits low on your back...

Easy On, Easy Off, Great for an Old Geezer
Would RecommendThe title says it all....mostly. This vest and its components seem to be well constructed. I've only used it once so far, but it worked like a dream with my 5 AH batteries and my Pole Chain Saw with Extension.

Underwhelming considering it only works in bursts.
Would Not RecommendYes the Backpack Link may put the battery on your back BUT...now the battery works only in upto 20 second bursts on mid-level power usage....and far less on turbo. This is a faulty product or it is by design and is due to overheating of some thing perhaps. I don’t know. I bought the Backpack Link to work with 560CFM hand blower (as even with a 2.5 Amp battery I was getting hand fatigue after using this for 10 to 15 minutes)

A Very Useful Product
Would RecommendThis is a great product. It's well built, comfortable to wear, pretty easy to use, and a good value. It really helps to get the weight of a heavier battery off the tool (such as a leaf blower) and onto your back. The straps are comfortable after properly adjusting them, and the load becomes almost unnoticeable. I'm using it with the leaf blower and it makes a world of difference when doing more than just blowing off a patio or driveway. It's "falling leaves" season here now so I'm having to "hea...

Decent battery life - good product
Would RecommendI bought this product with the 7.5 AH battery in early October, 2018. I live on a one acre property with lots of trees. The front yard is about 7/10's of an acre. I am able to clear about 80% of the front yard before the battery dies. The battery then takes about 30-40 minutes to recharge with the rapid charger. To me, it's worth it to have to wait for the recharge and then finish the yard later since I don't have to deal with buying oil/gas, difficulty with pull starting, or the ridiculous...

Surprisingly good.
Would RecommendI was surprised by the power. Even a middle power setting was enough to scatter leaves. The boost button dislodged some pretty stubborn debris. The power may compete with a mid-range has-powered unit, but a good back-pack gas-powered unit will, uh, blow the EGO away. However, the power is satisfactory. The lag in power response in the trigger from “off” took a little getting used to. My only complaint is the chest strap. Even adjusted to full length, it is more appropriate for small people, like...

Backpack Link
This definitely lighten the weight of your tool, not just for blower but trimmer too. It makes a day and night difference if you need to work with your tool with 7.5Ah battery

Does a nice job
Would RecommendThe backpack blower does a very nice job of clearing away loose leaves and grass. It doesn't compare with my corded Toro blower, but it is sufficiently strong for after mowing cleanup. It is somewhat awkward to put on your back and the discharge tube is connected to the backpack directly instead of by a pliable tubing. That does make it somewhat difficult to aim in some directions. But overall, it sure beats dragging around an extension cord.
