Almost there...smart vacuum.

It would be nice if you could free-draw the exclusion zones or at least be able to rotate the box. The exclusion zones seem to work well though. I love my DEEBOT 900

I Returned It

Did not plug and play out of the box. Instead, I put it on the charger and after several hours got a message that it was shutting down because of low battery. Somehow, I eventually got it started and it got stuck everywhere imaginable.

Smart!

I have this in my second floor, going through 3 areas to clean. Fast, efficient and accurate. Only issue I have, god brushes her caught. Make sure you clear as much as you can from the floor.

Better than my Roomba

Great smart robot vacuum

It took 2 tries to get the first run down so that it mapped my house and would work with the Start Clean function from the app, but once it was done it is a really cool feature. Not many other vacuums have lidar detection for mapping, wifi and app control for the price of this vacuum. A few times it will stop because the fall sensors get dusty and need cleaned or the brush gets tangled with long hair. Quiet and great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Neato vacuum, which was much louder and would not vacuum in the dark. This deebot can vacuum in the dark, is quiet enough to run while watching TV. It cleans well, and I love the ability to restrict zones, which the Neato did not have.

Good customer service and great product

I run it every day and I am amazed at the amount of dirt that is pulled up daily. Magnificent! We call him George.

Love the mapping technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time buying a robot vacuum, and I love the mapping technology. I know where it hits, and where it doesn't. The app is great too!

Mapping difficulties

The Ecovac does a great job cleaning. The dirt basket is very small and necessitates emptying after each cleaning. Mapping has been a nightmare! The unit frequently get”suspended “ and then “relocates,” which starts the whole mapping process over again. Customer care support is worthless!

Overall a good bot, cleaning is respectable

We have it run three days a week and have only had it get stuck twice in the past month. I think it pinned itself in a corner by running into a chair, although this was unusual. The floor we have it cleaning is about 90% hard, and 10% carpet. It does pretty good around the table and chairs, but does get confused at times with the thin legs of the chairs.

Sanity saver

Only thing is it doesn't tell you when the dirt compartment is full. It should be emptied after each use. And I usually have to take the brush assembly put each time to cut all the hair off it.
