Best & easiest vacuum I've ever owned! Charges quick and always ready to go - love that it goes into small spaces and under things.

Too Heavy

I bought this vacuum and it’s very powerful; however, it is too heavy to keep my hand hold the power button during the entire time. There are several cordless vacuums that don’t require to hold the power button while you are using it.

Love it! So much better than my Shark.

Great vacuum! Better battery life too! I would buy it again.

Dyson V8 Absolute (Yellow) the Best!

Looking for a cordless vacuum that was little and easy to use. works great on rugs and hardwood flooring. The two suction settings are the best feature for me.

Battery sucks

Have had the machine for a year and a half and the battery will no longer hold a charge at all. Even new it barely lasted 10 minutes, but now its nothing more than a wall ornament. Always equated Dyson with quality, but I seem to have been mistaken.

Better than expected

My hopes were already pretty high but I was still surprised at the power behind this little thing. I wish the wall caddy had more places to store attachments.

Well built

Very good vacuum cleaner with power however on high power it does not last too long. Battery should last longer for the price using HiiiPower otherwise it is great

V8 > V10 Dust Bin Opens Conveniently

I own two of these, one for upstairs one for downstairs. I also owned the V10 and tried the other omni glide. But this one is the best one, hence I bought a second one recently. One major advantage of this over the V10 is how the dust bin opens. I can simply pull the trigger over a trash can to empty dust. The other newest models of Dyson vacuum you need to disconnect the stick in order to empty the dust bin, which is too inefficient and annoying :/ ... I hope Dyson would go back to make thi...

Cordless Done Right

Hesitated to purchase because of the price but I was tired of all other cordless options letting me down. Called to verify what the differences were in power. Very helpful rep. Selected and purchased with crossed fingers. So happy with my Dyson! It is powerful and easy. Exactly what I hoped for. If it is durable (only time will tell) it will be absolute perfection.

Dyson V8 ANIMAL/Titanium

Love this vacuum. So lightweight to hold/use. I have a small home with 4 cats and all hardwood floors with a few long-hair wool rugs. The V8 ANIMAL picks-up hairs and dirt in seconds with one pass. Also picks-up hairs on sofa, bedding I even cleaned my window screens! I’ve used each attachment with success and ease. Clearing out the receptacle is so easy too and getting to each part is simple (for cleaning). The machine is so compact that it can be tucked-away or left out and be out of the way. ...

Impressive

I've had this for a good two weeks now that replaced a Dyson dc35 which still works after 7 years of heavy use. I cringed at the cost but it's worth it. Great improvements! Battery life, suction, carpet beater brush, accessories, ease of use, etc. are great! Wife is very happy with it as am I. We have no complaints and are satisfied. We hope it will last like our older one which is still in use.

Dyson is the best

My first dyson is a charm. I bought this few weeks ago and so far it lived to my expectations (except the battery life which is minor). I am impressed by few things: 1. Quietness of the machine 2. All different attachments 3. Light weight Overall, a good investment for my new home.

Vaccuming made messier and more time consuming

This thing clogs after cleaning a 6x8 carpet in a home with 1 small short-hair cat. The dust flies everywhere when I open the hatch and there is invariably dust stuck up around the top of the canister that I have to pull out by hand. Or I can release the whole canister, which is already dusty from opening the hatch. You can't just take off the canister, which would probably be less messy, you have to open the hatch at the bottom first which makes the handle and everything you touch dusty. Gross ...

easy and effective

I filled up the bin in about 10 min so I'd say it has good deep cleaning on a bedroom carpet

This is my second one - Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one that still works. but it is slowing down and I want it for the patio and I wanted a new one for the inside. This works great. So much more run time and easier to use - lighter and easier to empty. Looks like the hair won't get wrapped around the roller either. I live in a small condo and love to take it from room to room. And it's footprint is small. I love all the attachments, too. Highly recommended.

Great purchase!!

I bought a Dyson for my daughter a couple years ago and she loves it and finally got one for myself. Much easier to use than old corded vacuum therefore I use it more often and actually enjoy vacuuming! Great for vacuuming my upholstered furniture. Love everything about it!
