Great vacuum! Worth the money. Would be great if you didn’t have to hold the button down while in use. Arthritic fingers no likey.

Best purchase

I finally bit the bullet and paid the money for this brand after using countless different vacuum's (robot and stick). I do not regret my purchase. This is so lightweight and easy to use and I love how well it picks everything up. All the attachments were a great plus! I only want to use a Dyson from here on out.

It does a good job and is very versatile.

I love the vacuum even more than I thought I would. It is handy and can morph into many configurations. It has tool storage which is very handy and doesn’t take much wall space. The only cons are it is heavier than I thought it would be and my finger gets tired holding the trigger. It would be wonderful if you could lock the trigger.

Battery died right after warranty was ip

How convenient of the battery to die a few months after the two year warranty was up, these people know what they are doing. I thought these batteries were supposed to last 4-5 years, mine lasted 2.5 years and I don’t even use it heavily as our cleaners bring their own vacuum!

Better than expected

This was a gift from my daughter who is on her second Dyson. I was doubtful but love the ease of use. Great for quick sprucing up and getting all the long hair up from white tile floors! The wand is the best shade of red too!

It's a Must Have in your Home!!

I can't say enough good things about this vacuum. I procrastinated in getting a Dyson because of the price and paid for numerous other vacuums that never completely did the job. Trust me, this is well worth the money! It's cordless, light weight, easy to handle and does absolutely everything I could possibly need. I have 5 dogs and they can create quite a mess sometimes...they are no match for my Dyson V8! Great suction and I use it daily on my hardwood floors. Couldn't imagine ever having...

Horrible

This vacuum is a waste of money. It constantly shuts off after vacuuming about 2 feet. Troubleshooting tells me there is a clog somewhere, it has done this ever since I purchased it. There is no clog. Now it won’t even vacuum my rugs. Very disappointed in the quality and would not recommend.

Great suction!

For a cordless vacuum, the power on the Dyson V8 Absolute is great. I would rate it 5 stars, except for one thing: the fact that you have to hold the button in the whole time you're vacuuming. I'm a healthy 76-year-old with mild arthritis in my hands. The Dyson is a bit heavy, but I could handle the weight if I didn't have to keep the button pressed. An On/Off switch would be a great improvement.

Underwhelming

The good thing is that it literally feels like it is sucking the floor and getting the thinnest layer of dust. The battery is awful, I cannot finish one room properly before the battery dies. Secondly, it doesn't feel sturdy or high quality. I also don't like how the top is heavy and the bottom is not, it is hard on the wrists. Definitely not wowed or amazed at the price.

Worth It

Amazing vacuum for vinyl plank floors…

This vacuum is perfect for cleaning vinyl plank floors. With two dogs and two granddaughters it gets used daily. Only had it for a week, but we retired the old vacuum to the carpeted upstairs. Very happy with the product!

Absolutely love it!!! My husband got it for me for Mother’s Day…would have never spent the money on a vacuum before but it was money well spent!!! Love the attachments and the fact that it’s cordless. I’m obsessed, I find a reason to use it every day lol…Great buy

Terrible battery life

We bought this vacuum and fully charged the unit. Great power and suction, however the battery only lasted 5 minutes. For the price payed, we expected more than 5 minutes.
