My second dyson vacuum cleaner

We had a V6 for 5+ years, we do need to replace it because the motor head is worn and the battery is not as good as it once was. This V8 is much more quiet than our old one and it’s absolutely easy to clean & empty the dustbin. Cleaning my performance is as exceptional, all the tiny pet hair and non visible dust are collected, which makes a great difference if you have allergies to dust mites etc

Great except, holding the trigger is hard

I have only had it a short time, works great but holding it and the trigger down gets tedious, painful for old hands, (I am 80)

Need new trigger design

The vacuum performs fine, but the trigger to use the vacuum is a poor design. It causes pressure and rubbing on your thumb, causing pain and blister.

Best investment ever

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago. I have two dogs in my household and was looking for something that could keep floors clear of dog hair. So far there is not a thing I don’t like about this vacuum! I love the way it picks up hair and debris. It also does not throw or spread the debris. It is easy to handle. Love the swivel head. My favorite vacuum ever

I can vacuum my home faster and better than ever. It is so easy to use and so efficient. I have three cats, and this is the best vacuum to pick up their hair. I only wish the additional tools were available. I cannot clean crevices, and the tool provided to clean upholstery is not efficient. I also have the hair dryer. I wonder why I waited so long to get both.

Great product!!

I love this. As a previous owner of a central vacuum it was too bulky for storage and use but this vacuum is lightweight yet powerful. I love the storage dock and all the tools make cleaning seemlessly easy Wish I had this years ago!!!!

Dyson for my dog

We love this vacuum. We have a collie and he sheds profusely. His hair does not get all tangled in the roller which I love. I have an old dyson and have to continually cut the hair out of the roller. That one was not for pets but we absolutely love this one and the longer run time. Great job Dyson!!!

This thing can SUCK.

I brought this and have been using this for the last 4 years. The battery life that I experienced was on par with almost everyone else as well as those who've made reviews on YouTube. Despite the battery finally starting to lose its charge, I have a replacement battery that I bought and installed and I must say that this machine feels like its new again. I am looking to get the newer V15 Detect for my second home. Cordless vacuums are fantastic if you live in a single story or a apartment.

For years we’ve watched the Dyson commercials, the various products and innovations. We just bought the portable Dyson V8. We have another portable vacuum that we’ve had for a few years that’s not performing as well as it has in the past. It was 1/4 the price of the Dyson V8 - we had our doubts, but the return policy was more than fair. Wow!! It performs far better than the other portable and even better than our corded vacuum. Love it!!

I love my Dyson V8!! It's lightweight and easy to use. The suction is good. Noticed it does not glide easily over flat throw rugs as it tends to not suction on them. Otherwise I love it for a quick vacuum.

Best Dyson vacuum yet

This is our 3rd Dyson stick vacuum and I notice several big improvements. It has more power, the battery lasts longer, it's easier to dump the waste and there are several new attachments. I love it and it's worth every penny.

Great thing to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While we were at our brother and sister-in-law cottage. My wife fell in love with their Dyson stick sweeper. So, I order on for my wife and after getting the package and have it all set up. She is so happy ease using it around the house and getting into the tight spot.

Love this vacuum

I am older and the vacuums today are so heavy I have trouble handling them , and exhausted by the time I am done. But Not with this dyson! I love it! Cleans so well and I don't have to test after cleaning our floors. Yay!!

Great Vacuum

I love this vacuum. Its so lightweight, easy to maneuver and has so many attachments. It charges quickly and is really quiet compared to other vacuums. The only thing I don't care for is that you have to keep your finger on the "on" button for it to keep running, kind of odd for a good vacuum. I would definitely recommend it.

Best Purchase Ever

This is my second Dyson V8 - I now have one for each floor of my house. This is the most powerful vacuum I have ever used. Totally worth the money!
