Perfect Tool for Cleaning Off Pet Hair

This was a gift that got lost in our last move. I promptly purchased it again because the vacuum is powerful and can pick up pet hair better than any other tried. The real beauty of it is that it’s cordless! Makes it so easy to vacuum the stairs and in tight spaces. It works great inside cars, too!

Great vacuum!

I took it out of the box. Charged it. My wife took it and proceeded to vacuum the house. We have 2200 square feet and 2 black Labs. She had fun using it... It still had half a charge when she finished. I'm sorry we didn't buy it sooner.

Powerful vacuum

I love this vacuum! It’s powerful and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry from room to room and to clean stairs. It is very easy to empty and picks up more dust than I can see.

This vacuum did work great for a while but after using the attachments have gone out. Honestly I don’t even know what is going on with the product anymore. My mom has the same vacuum and my attachments work with her vacuum, her attachments work with my vacuum BUT my attachments do not work with MY vacuum which is what I need.

Mixed Reactions

I have had the Animal 2 weeks. It “pulses” within minutes each time. I have read this means there is a clog of some sorts. I have tried to wash/dry the filter, empty the tank thoroughly and regularly, and make sure there are no blockages. I think it cleans great, it is just time consuming so far to keep running. The suction is impressive. I vacuum about 3-4 times a week. Overall, given this, I’m willing to keep trying.

Not as powerful as my old Dyson

When I first turned it on, I thought something might be wrong with it. The brush is noticeably less powerful. All I can imagine is that it has been "derated" to improve battery life.

Powerful suction!

I love this vacuum! It is lightweight and moves well around corners and under things. The powerful suction is awesome! Wishing I had bought this sooner. Not crazy about how the canister empties, but I’ll get used to it. I definitely recommend this vacuum.

It does not hold its charge. I have a small house and I have to charge it up before I can finish cleaning

Works even BETTER than advertised. So simple to use - Gadgets click on and off with such ease and very powerful (has max power option) My couch, My carpets, and of course My FLOORS will be Totally dirt and dust free from now on thanks to my V8 Absolute :) Extremely pleased with this product!

Excellent vacuum

Purchased a different brand and returned it after two weeks. This model has suction for both front and backward motion. The battery is fine for our usage which is a quick cleanup job. When the whole house has to be cleaned we use a full-size Dyson wired vacuum. This is the third Dyson we purchased and all three live and are used in our household weekly. Don’t make the mistake of buying an inferior brand!

It works fine on wood floors but not at all on rugs or carpet. Miss our older model. Also was told that the parts on the V8 were interchangeable (by Dyson) to our 59, they are not!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VACUUM!!!!!

I really was hesitant to buy this vacuum because it’s expensive for us. My sister has this vacuum at her lakehouse where I tried it and discovered that this Dyson is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. I have a long coat German shedder and it picks up everything on every surface. It’s expensive but we’ll worth the money.

Top tiet in every way

Ordering, customer service, design, support... and then using it... light years ahead of anything else. You get what you pay for. The wall mount itself is a revelation. My only regret is this one doesn't have the locked on switch. It does get tiring on older index fingers...
