This sharpener is worth it's weight in gold. it’s easy to use although I did watch a short video, the written Instructions were very easy to understand. I have tons of bits and some are as old as the hills but they're expensive to replace so this machine was a true blessing for me. Nice sharpening tool

Took some time to figure out all the steps needing to shapers bits but once I figured them out it was worth the effort. My bits are definitely alot sharper and smoother. If you are like me you buy quality bits, and you definitely do not want to buy more anytime soon. This sharpener works well. Small and portable and ready when you need it. Worth investing in this.

I had been on the fence about buying a drill sharpener. I had several bits that are well past sharp. Got the drill Dr XPK and started sharpening bits. It's worked really well. I was starting to get a little bit of walk on the bits I use. Someone also used one of my bits for a sheet of cement board. Thanks to them they were super dull.

Quickly restore dull or broken Drill bits

I do a lot of woodworking in my small garage workshop. Much of what I do requires drilling holes. Nobody will contest that it’s better to use sharp a drill bit vs a dull one and for many reasons. This Drill doctor XP is truly awesome. I have collected over the years many dull drill bits and now there is an easy way to sharpen them. I read the helpful user guide and watched some You Tube videos and set about to sharpen my first bit. The sharpening process is quite easy once you take your time and set it all up. I have a lot of bits…I go through quite a few between dulling or breaking. I was really hopeful the Drill Doctor would work and I wasn’t disappointed! Once you understand the process it’s a breeze. Fast and easy

This is the first time I've used a drill bit sharpener. The instructions walk you through the set up and once you've done one bit it makes complete sense. I took a couple of my dullest bits and sharpened them in seconds. Nice, compact unit and it's easy to clean.

Works great!

I have a lot of old dull drill bits, so I was excited to try this out. Be sure to read the instructions to do it right. Even so, I didn’t get it right the first time, but I just reinserted the bit and did it over. I haven’t tried the split point option yet, but supposedly it makes the bits not wander when starting a hole in wood. Once you get the hang of it, it takes about a minute to sharpen a bit. Easier Done than Said

An unlikely looking contraption one might have a difficult time guessing what it was for if you weren't told beforehand. The instruction manual contains a head-spinning lot of words explaining the nuances required for successful operation which had me ready to throw in the towel before even beginning. Great sharpener with a learning curve

Bit sharpener works well once you get the hang of using it. Directions on how to use it are confusing, so I ended up googling a video and that made it much clearer. Pictures don’t show how sharp bits truly are after sharpening, but they definitely did get sharper.

Great tool for people that use lots of drill bits.

I've put off for years buying this tool, or one similar, the instructions for bit setup is a little difficult the first time, but after the first couple of setups it is actually very easy to use. I literally have hundreds of old bits dulled from decades of use and non-use given a new life with this tool. Much easier to sharpen a bit with this than using a grinder.
