Best purchase of 2020! After much procrastination, I purchase the Dimplex log set as a Christmas gift to the family. We have lived in our home for 18 years and never used the fireplace for all the usual reasons. I have received so many compliments on the authentic look and feel of the fireplace. The optical illusion flames and heat settings make this purchase well worth the money.

Had to install propane to be able to use the fireplace in new house. Decided to try the electric logs. Love how realistic the flame looks. It is also able to he used with or without the heater. Love it! It fit perfectly in my fireplace. I have lived in my apartment for a very long time, now I think to myself, why did I wait so long to do this? I have high ceilings and the heater is perfect for the days when you don't need the heat on. It takes the damp and chilliness out of the room. I would highly recommend it.

I am very happy with our choice and the customer service and speed of delivery- was awesome. I smile after cold morning when I know that my cheery fire awaits! The product is lovely at night- the plastic backdrop is great as a concept but isn't as elegant as I would like. It is inserted in an existing wood fireplace - I am going to raise the item up, and that may help. For the price - I am thrilled and thinking of other rooms that may need an electric fireplace insert .

The fireplace does not look like it was pictured on the website. The flames do not look realistic and the fireplace was not what I had expected. Five years ago I ordered a Dimplex fireplace and I loved it. I tried to find the same one when browsing, but could not, so I bought this one. I am disappointed in it.

Dimplex Revillusion 20 inch plug in log set.
Would RecommendI removed our natural gas log set and replaced it with the Dimplex Revillusion 20 inch log set. Our original natural gas log set put out so much heat that even on the lowest setting after 20 minutes we had to turn it off. With the Dimplex we can enjoy the ambience of the fire year round simply by turning on or off the heat as desired. I capped off the gas line and turned off the gas valve going into the fireplace. I then ran electrical power to the fireplace so I could plug the Dimplex in withou...
