Was disappointed in the looks of the reflective back panel. I purchased for my daughter and she loves it, but that back panel looks phony! Would be better without. Also purchased thr crackled, which crackles too much ; even on the lowest.

Everything to like about this insert
I'm a patient internet shopper for bigger ticket items. I wanted the best look for the buck. I definitely got it. Extremely impressed and I just hope it will hold up for ten yrs or so. After shopping for a couple of years sporadically after we got rid of our smelly gas log, I picked this one from a field of a few including some gimmicky expensive models.
