I LOVE this fireplace insert! It's flames look realistic and the heater blows great! Lots of compliments from others on it!!

This purchase was a mistake. Totally unrealistic looking.

I don't normally write reviews, but I want to save others my hassle of purchasing and returning. The description did not make it clear to me that the flame will only appear on a large, clear plastic frame that one has to attach to the logs. Once I did, I found it impossible to look at the flames without noticing the big circular piece of plastic that surrounded it. The whole thing had to be returned. :-( So disappointed.

Nice ambience

The Insert provides a fine fire-like ambiance, we enjoy it often. The heater is small for our larger room, but provides a little boost on cold evenings. Once I modified the unvented gas fireplace by removing the gas logs and equipment, capping the gas inlet, routing wiring into the box, and placing an outlet in a top/hidden corner, it was easy to slide the unit in place, plug it in, and enjoy. I wish the vendor would have provided more detailed dimensions on the product as the basic outline give...

Insert in an existing fireplace for supplemental heat. Works perfect. Quite realistic looking.

Great looking gas unit replacement

When gas was abandoned in our condo, the gas log sets were useless. The 20 inch Revillusion fit inside the existing enclosure after removing the log set. Really looks good, and the heat supplements a large room nicely. Makes the fireplace useful again without the stuffy gas fumes.

I ordered the electric logs for my sister's new mobile home fireplace. We all love the electric logs and the fire is very realistic.

As real as you can get.

LOVE IT! The flames look like gas flames instead of a projection. I researched quite a bit and for the price this is awesome! When the room is really dark and the fire logs on it looks like a real fire. The heat is pretty nice for the size room I have it in. Would DEFIN recommend it - maybe I will get the next size up to use in my upstairs fireplace.

Surprisingly realistic!

A set of ventless gas logs were replaced because using them more tan 2 hours set off the carbon monoxide detector. The RLG20 arrived in 2 days in perfect condition. First impression was they were light and too small. The logs are 16 inches wide. The plastic screen that sits in the middle of the unit is 24 inches wide.
