Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT Titanium Nitride coated HSS Oscillating Tool Blade
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The oscillating tool blade appears to be better suited for softer materials like wood and laminate flooring, rather than for cutting through harder metals. Many users reported the blade dulling or breaking quickly, even after just a few uses on metal. The product seems to be of poor quality and not recommended for heavy-duty metal cutting tasks. Customers suggest investing in a more durable, carbide-tipped blade if metal cutting is the primary need.

Would Not RecommendOne star for the brand, one star for the first five nails. After that it it wouldn't cut anything.

Clean cutting machine
Would RecommendThese blades are great, they’ll cut through anything without the vibration of a full-size Sawzall. Very easy to control and sharp. Now you won’t be able to use this like a sawzall it will dull quickly in plaster and other semi hard materials.

Defect in materials
Would RecommendBought this to trim a 3/8th in. rusted bolt and used it once and it chipped a section of teeth. Took it back to Lowes and got a replacement which finished the job and seems to be working just fine. Might rate it higher if not for the chip.

Blade dulled rapidly
Would Not RecommendPurchased blade to cut through wire mesh on old ceiling and wall construction and blade dulled very rapidly. Tried to use it to cut off screw heads without success. Other brands performed better but Dremel brand was even worse Might work ok on wood and light brads but not for our heavier metal

It’s the best.
Would RecommendFive stars! It’s the best. The saw blades are expensive though.

Pretty good
Would RecommendCuts through metal well can’t handle hard pallet nails though. Dulled immediately with pallet nails. Kind of disappointing for that job application.

Metal Cutting
Would RecommendI had some nails in the back of an old dresser that had been repaired incorrectly. I needed to cut the nails and there was no other saw I had that could get to them. I had never tried cutting metal with the oscillating tool before. For that matter I didn't even know they made blades for cutting metal till I went looking. Anyway, I got one and it worked great and problem solved.

Not worth the extra money
Would Not RecommendThis blade was done in 15mins just as bad as the bimetal blades. I don’t expect these blades to last forever with cutting aluminum like we do every day but 15 mins is unacceptable IMO. I will just buy the cheap harbor freight blades from here on out.

Oscillating Tool Blade
Would RecommendBought this to cut out a hole to mount an exterior plug on a neighbors shed. It worked great. Quality tools give quality results. Thats why I do all my hardware shopping at Lowes. Recommend this is if you are going to cut holes with a multifunction tool.

Sorry Dewalt - poor quality
Would Not Recommend"Lame" Reviews are right. This one wears out FAST! I used a $40 2-pack (Rockwell or Bosch?; thicker too!) earlier in my job. It was awesome. I went to cut one 5/8" bolt off and I got 1/3 into it. The other brand did the whole bolt. Aka: 3x better blade! Wasted $20 and a trip to the store.
