Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT Titanium Nitride coated HSS Oscillating Tool Blade
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The oscillating tool blade appears to be better suited for softer materials like wood and laminate flooring, rather than for cutting through harder metals. Many users reported the blade dulling or breaking quickly, even after just a few uses on metal. The product seems to be of poor quality and not recommended for heavy-duty metal cutting tasks. Customers suggest investing in a more durable, carbide-tipped blade if metal cutting is the primary need.

Would Not RecommendProduct works as designed wears out quickly thought it should have lasted longer for the price I used it on metal which is what it stated that it was for

Dont bother. Better off with a hacksaw
Would Not RecommendUsed it to cut a nail off and it was ruined. All the teeth wore away in less than one cutting.

This solved a problem I was having...
Would RecommendIn trying to cut through a shelf with limited access, I kept running into long metal staples with my oscillating tool. Other than making a LOT of noise, not much else was accomplished. My next trip to Lowe's found me checking out the other blade options. When I saw the label on this one that indicated that it would cut metal, I thought I'd give it a try. OK...cut to the chase...it worked great....almost the same amount of noise, but it did not take it long to slice through the metal staples...an...

Though it would be better for nails.
Would Not RecommendI was hoping it could handle nails to remove studs, but I only got about three nails before it was shot. Better than the standard metal blades, but still not that great and is too expensive to ruin on nails. I will use the sawzall, but not as handy as the oscillating tool.

Teeth wore off after a few nails
Would Not RecommendThis is advertised as being for cutting through metal... maybe aluminum foil! The teeth wore off after cutting through a few nails. Definitely will not buy again! P.S. It did attach to my Dewalt tool easily though. At least that part worked.
High price. Not universal fit
Would Not RecommendI purchased this because Lowes did not have any Rockwell metal cutting blades. The Dewalt blade said it was universal and would fit Rockwell. It looked like it would work but once mounted it would not stay tight in the holder. The price was also quite high at $20. I went on line and ordered a generic blade from Amazon that actually was a universal fit. The cost was only $12 and it worked great.

Disappointed
Would Not RecommendI had to remove some deck boards but the screw slots were worn and would not come out. I decided to purchase a blade for metal cutting for my oscillating saw. I did not get to cut through 2 screws before the teeth were damaged. Fortunately I was able to remove the boards without the help of my saw. Being a Dewalt part I expected top quality.

Not really for nails
Would Not RecommendShows a picture of wood and nails on the package. I bought this to cut through some hidden nails in the studs on a wall I am renovating. It cut through the first nail OK, a little slower on the second nail, and took a while on the third nail, at that point, most of the teeth were gone. It wouldn't go through a forth nail. so, this is good for three nails before you have to throw it away.

My recommend : DON'T BUY IT!
Would Not RecommendIt CAN NOT cut the screws which screwed the drywall with stud. I bought the other one labeled as for heavy metal cutting made by the other brand with the same price on the next day. It WORKs properly!!! About this one, I'll tell you, it can cut drywall and 2 by 2 stud.
