Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT Titanium Nitride coated HSS Oscillating Tool Blade
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The oscillating tool blade appears to be better suited for softer materials like wood and laminate flooring, rather than for cutting through harder metals. Many users reported the blade dulling or breaking quickly, even after just a few uses on metal. The product seems to be of poor quality and not recommended for heavy-duty metal cutting tasks. Customers suggest investing in a more durable, carbide-tipped blade if metal cutting is the primary need.

Would RecommendI own this blade. It is OK for wood. I would NOT use it for metal or for cutting screws. The metals will damage it. Dewalt says that the titanium nitride coating is for heat dissipation. I don't think that the teeth are being ruined by heat. If you want to curt metals with an oscillating tool, buy blades with carbide teeth. There are other companies (Milwaukee) that sell metal cutting blades that don't have carbide teeth. Avoid those as well. Carbide tipped blades cost more. They are w...
JUNK
Would Not RecommendIt wasn't able to cut through through single drywall screw before the teeth were gone. Will be returning and purchasing any other brand.
junk
Would Not RecommendI bought two to cut through a 3/16 x 1" melt bar. I didn't get through half the bar before I went through both blades. Ended up cutting rest with a hack saw. Was faster and quicker. Please, do not buy unless you are cutting very thin metal..

Does not hold up under use on any substatial Matials. The cost for the work it can perform is rediculous.
Useless for Metal
Would Not RecommendCouldn't even get through one screw. Absolutely useless.
Not Universal!
Would Not RecommendThis blade does not fit my Dremel Multimax. I can install it onto the tool, but it releases under any kind of load. Dangerous!

It is almost useless when cutting metal
Would Not RecommendAfter a while the teeth were worn much while the nails were still there.
To costly for what use I got. Not a good product for the money

Good blade, but not indestructible
Would RecommendGood blade, but not indestructible I don’t know… It seems like when you buy a DeWalt tool it should be indestructible, but these blades wear out the same as any other blade. Too soon!

Does the job on wood as well
Would RecommendBlades tend to have a short lifespan so I use this blade on wood as well which lasts much longer than a wood blade.

DEWALT Bi-Metal Oscillating Tool Blade
Would RecommendI bought this blade to use with my Fein Oscillating orbit tool. The fit and form are great, even though the saw blade was made by Dewalt. I needed the metal saw blade (intended to be used to cut metal) to cut and split, a locking ring on a shower drain fitting. The metal cutting blade was the only tool I could apply to the corroded ring to split and remove it. I needed to replace the old drain fitting. I was able to cut and remove the drain fitting, without damaging the shower pan or the drain p...
