Ratings & Reviews for DEWALT Titanium Nitride coated HSS Oscillating Tool Blade
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The oscillating tool blade appears to be better suited for softer materials like wood and laminate flooring, rather than for cutting through harder metals. Many users reported the blade dulling or breaking quickly, even after just a few uses on metal. The product seems to be of poor quality and not recommended for heavy-duty metal cutting tasks. Customers suggest investing in a more durable, carbide-tipped blade if metal cutting is the primary need.

Would Not RecommendThe blades still did not cut through the cement anchors that I had hoped they would.

Don't ever by this. It is worthless.....
Would Not RecommendIt was worthless. The regular multipurpose blades were much better. Not worth the $20

Dependable
Would RecommendI remodel bathrooms and many times a regular blade will not do. This blade cuts through most anything.

worked for me
Would RecommendUsed it today on a 3/8 stainless steel bolt that was stripped and being held in by a locknut. I had enough space between the head of the bolt and the metal surface i was trying to get it off of. I used 3 in One oil and slowly cut through the bolt. I let the teeth of the blade do the work and not force it to cut. Im not sure if it will cut through anything else, even though the blades are still intact, but it helped me out this time.
Good Blade for the Price
I have tried several blades that are a lot more expensive. This blade has functioned well and mostly has remained sharp through several uses. I am repairing my house from a hurricane and it is nice to find a tool that does not break after the first use.

Works great on nails but destroyed blade trying to cut screws

Not for cutting automotive hardware
Would Not RecommendDoes last for the price. I got through one and a half 3/8’s bolts before the teeth gave out on both blades.

Mislabeled
The specifications say it can’t cut thru the things it can cut thru and vice versa. I’ve never found a blade for these tools to cut metal, it’s just doesn’t seem like what it’s for. This blade is for plaster walls, it cuts thru plaster and the lathe behind it without cracking, and it lasts longer than most blades for that purpose, wood blades can cut faster, but lose the teeth pretty fast. But yeah, NEVER for metal
used this on a bolt
Would RecommendUsed this on a gas tank bolt on a 94 toyota truck. It was welded on . Cut right through it.
