Nice little tool

I had never used a palm router before so was a little skeptical. However, this guy makes quick work of rounding over edges without the fuss of setting up my routing table or clamping down bigger pieces since it can be operated with 1 hand. My only complaint is changing the bits is a little difficult with the flat base attached.

Do not buy this!!!

The warranty is 90 days and mine died 10 days out of warranty, my second one. The first lasted a year. The light comes on but thats it. nothing.I'm going with Bosch. Save yourself the trouble.

Palm Router

This is the second one I’ve owned. the previous one lasted four years. It’s by far the best router you could buy for the price.

Lasted less than a month

The brushes burnt up the first month and now i have to send off for repair and wait weeks costing me downtime

Fantastic Palm Router

I purchased my DeWalt Palm Router a little over a month ago with a flush trim bit and a 1/4" straight bit. It is being used to help create an NCO Induction Archway for my Army Reserve unit. If I had not purchased this tool, I would still be hand sawing the paneling. I think it is a great tool to own.

Excellent router!

I bought this as soon as they went on the market. I use it all of the time and it works just as well today as it did brand new. It is light enough that my hand never gets tired, but is stable at the same time.

Good Tool

Easy to use and powerful enough for small jobs. Definitely handy to have in the shop.

very user friendly

Very good product except for the plastic sub-base. Make sure you buy extras because I cannot find a metal one to fit this product. Used mine for 10 minutes and the plastic sub-base broke. Manufacturer surely can do better than this cheap plastic on a great product.

Light weight. Powerful

Unit it good sized, powerful, and light weight. LED's are a definite PLUS. Depth adjustment ring is so much easier than the old school hit&miss Allen screw adjustment.

It’s a nice tool unfortunately I bought it but didn’t need it for the job I had to do so I returned it and got my money back

Love it But.......

I purchased this about a year ago and have used it several times and each time it worked flawlessly. Until.... this last project when the router stopped working when under load. As soon as I started into the wood, it stop the bit and I had to turn it on and off to restart the process. It took several on and off procedures to finish the cut. The router runs fine when not cutting but still stalls under load. Not suer of why but getting a new one for future projects.

I am impressed with this compact router. Variable speed Bit change out Long cord Acrylic base plate Good feel in the hand The LEDs don’t matter when working outside as I do It’s my first router. I like it! Recommend

Great addition to my CNC

I used this router on my 24x48 CNC. Have cut many wooden projects. And milled 1/4" aluminum with no problem.

Reasonable Router

The router is the one recommended by a company that does a lot of mill work. De Walt has a great name. For small to medium router jobs requiring a mill bit, this is the one.
