Wish I had kept my old slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift. I was so excited as my old slow cooker was much smaller and at least 30 years old. First time I used it for cream cheese spinach dip within 30 minutes the cheese was scorching, even on low. I had to keep stirring to prevent sticking and scorching. Used twice before insert cracked. Not impressed considering this is not a cheap purchase.

Crock Broke during Cooking

I received this as a gift last Christmas, yesterday while cooking a roast, I heard a pop, but did not think anything of it. However, when I removed the cooking bag, AFTER we had eaten, the crock was broken. I am thankful I had used the bag to cook in. Crazy how the side cracked, like I now have a window. Frustrating.

Crockpot - Bottom Of Ceramic Pot Cracked

I bought this crockpot over a year and a half ago. This is my third crockpot and each time I bought a larger size. This is the first one the bottom of the ceramic pot cracked during cooking. Disappointed! The last two had lasted way longer than that. I have given the away after upgrade to a larger size.

Low boils my food

I bought this Crockpot to replace an old model. This new model boils all my food even on low and on warm. I only use it for something that is already cooks that I want to heat fast. i.e. chicken soup or chili. IT DOES NOT SLOW COOK AT ALL. Do not waste your money. I am currently looking for some other brand that actually works.

Crack on bottom of crock

I use this only on Holidays because of the larger crowd at home. I have had it 2 years. I found a crack in the bottom of the crock after Thanksgiving. I am very disappointed because it will be very expensive to replace.

Burns or Overcooks Everyrhing

I bought this crockpot just over a year ago and I’m so disappointed. I’ve only used it 4-5 times - once to make Pulled BBQ Chicken, twice to make Chili and 1-2 times to make soup - each time my meal was over cooked or burnt. There does not seem to be a difference between and low and high setting. Both settings boil instead of simmer. I don’t know if the switch or temperature controls were faulty but I wish I’d returned instead of trying to adjust my recipe cooking times (recipes I’ve made be...

My Insert Broke!

I have cooked with Crock Pots all my life and have never had one fail until this one. I use them weekly. Today when I lifted the insert out, I discovered that it had cracked during cooking and had leaked fluids outside the insert. I am so disappointed, as it is just under a year old and I have been extremely pleased with it up until now. I would like it replaced, please.

Thought it was a good one

Bought this about a year or less, used it maybe 6 times, seemed to run on the hotter end of the settings, last time we used it we found burnt food between the insert and cooker, turns out the crock has crack most of the way around it. Never dropped, always hand washed. I doubt a replacement is even available.

Hazardous Crockpot

I purchased the Crockpot online and was surprised when it arrived that there were no clamps to hold the lid on. I used it once and placed it in my cupboard. When I went to pull it out by the handles, the lid slid off and shattered into thousands of pieces on the floor. It created such a hazard for my small dog that I had to lock her up in the bathroom for hours while I scoured the floor for shards of glass as they were in my kitchen, dining room, and even my den. It was awful!!!

Watch your food timing

I bought this cooker 3 days ago and just made my first dish. Cooked the chicken with a cheese topping as the first part of the recipe and put it on high for 4 hours as instructed. It cooked way too hot! The cheese was browning on the the bottom and sides of the pot and starting to get hard with 23 minutes to go...way too hot instead of "slow" cooking. We'll be sure to subtract time from the suggested cooking time, at least on the high setting. It will be passable until it's time to be replaced...

Disappointed In Product

have had this 8 quart now for 2 yrs., only use it 3-4 times a year. Digital readout is part way burned out and you can't read the time to cook, and now it only cooks on HIGH! I am not rough on appliances and bought this because of Crockpot's reputation. This was not a cheap purchase and expected it to last through several years. Disappointed that now I'm shopping again for a slow cooker

Cracked

Bought Oct 2021. Used 6-8 times. No vent release on cover. Today however: beef roast in crock checked it 3 hours later, liquid all over the counter and down onto the hardwood floor-who knows what seeped in between the slats. In course of cleaning went to lift the crock out to assess as smelled burnt. The sides came out and the bottom stayed behind with my roast.

Do not buy this

Good while it lasted

Got this as a wedding present last summer and really started using it in January this year; probably 3-4 times a month. I love using it for meal prepping and an occasional dinner. Clean up is easy, love the digital feature and was really enjoying using it. Agree with other reviews that it does get very hot, even on low. Not much difference between the 2 settings. Pot broke

Have been having your products for thirty years . I bought this product a few months ago to replace a pot I have been having with two generations. This one broke while it in use . I was cooking roast and it broke while cooking . It had been working for just three hours then broke and found all the water leaking in the base . What happened to your products? I always loved crock pot and wouldn't replace it with any other brand . What a shame .

Thought I was buying a good Crockpot

So I bought this and DIDNT realize that after you set the timer the crockpot DOESNT turn off. So my food burned. Yes my fault but what crockpot doesnt turn off once timer is up?

Not worth it!

I haven’t even had this crockpot a year yet and it cracked. I was cooking a roast, heard a pop and liquid started running out of the bottom.
