Lid exploded

I bought the 8qt crock pot in 4/28/23. Only used a handful of times. Then someone picked the lid up and it just exploded! I do not recommend! Someone could have seriously been hurt!

Bad Instruction Manual

Instruction manual is a joke. I know they are trying to make it cheaper, but this is horrible.

I have the older version of the 8qt cooker and I have never had any problems with it. Used properly it gives great results. I'm not sure if the newer 8qt cooker comes with the locking/sealing lid.

Waste of money

I got this for my Christmas gift. After only using it about five times the coating is flaking up and gets in my food. I either need a new insert or just a better crock pot.

Temp is too high!

I decided to upgrade from my old crockpot but wish I would have left well enough alone. The only good thing with the new one is the size. The frustration I am running into is it cooks too hot! High or low...stuff burns on the bottom and edges. I even have had the crockpot liners melt and stick to the bottom. Would not recommend this crockpot.

Should’ve researched before buying this model

I bought this in July, but just opened last week. Today was my 3rd time using this, and noticed a crack on my liner. It made sense why I had pork juice on the bottom of the crockpot when I lifted the liner. The food cooks really fast (even on a low setting). This is my 3rd crockpot replacing 2 of my crockpots I bought 8 and 10 years ago. I am bummed that this hasn’t lasted even a mont of use…

Crock cracked

Received this as a wedding gift in 2022. Loved the size but after 4-5 uses, it leaked all over our counter. When ir cooled I looked and the crock had cracked along half of the bowl on the curve upward.

Inner bowl cracked and crock pot doesn't offer the replacement.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Wish I had read these reviews before I bought it. I have had this crock pot for 2 years and all of the sudden, it was leaking all over the counter. Took it out and there is a hairline crack on the outside of the ceramic. Nothing on the inside. We have never dropped it or mishandled it. Probably only used it 6-10 times. My old crockpot has lasted almost 30 years. I just wanted a bigger one. They just don’t make them like they used to.

So disappointed

I purchased this product and first the handle on the lid completely cracked and fell apart. Then the bottom of the crock insert is completely cracked around the edge. For the amount of money I paid for this product it didn’t even a year….

Makes a Huge Mess

I bought this crock pot for the large size to feed my large family. Unfortunately, I cannot even use it. The lid does seems too small and it does not fit well. Every time I use this crockpot, it splatters liquid out all over the counter. Then I have an electrical appliance sitting in a huge puddle on my counter. Display not working

The digital display only displays part of the numbers. I have to count in my head to know how long I’ve set it for. It has gotten worse the last 2 times I’ve used it. It’s bad enough now that I need to replace it which is unfortunate when it’s only been used a few times.

Didn't last long

I've had this crockpot for about a year and a half, used it a handful of times. Today the crock part cracked and is garbage. Ver disappointed. My mom's from over 30 years ago still works great....was hoping for the same quality

Had high hopes for this crockpot!

Very disappointed. This crockpot cooked our food way too fast, even on low. Food stuck to the bottom. Liquid was bubbling around the lid, causing some to evaporate. Do not recommend purchasing this crockpot!

Best Purchase Ever!

I bought this one in 2020 right when Covid hit. I used it once or twice a week to feed us for the whole week for the first few months. Now I use it once or twice a month for food for us and once a month to make bone broth for our dog, which runs 24hrs! I wish they made a bigger one. Only thing that I need to replace is the lid because my fiancé just dropped it on the ground and it shattered

Problems with the lid

My old Crockpot got a crack in it, so I ordered a new 8 Quart to replace it. The lid in this newer model has a rubber seal in the vent hole, which it does not release the stream. The lid shakes so much that it splatters liquid during the cooking, making a huge mess. My old Crockpot worked great. We want to return it.

Disappointed :(

I ordered this 8qt Stainless Digital Slow Cooker on Feb 23rd, 2023 and it arrived in a timely fashion. I was so excited to get this beautiful cooker and I use it almost daily. The issue is today when using it the light for the "low setting" has gone out... its only March 14th, 2023. It seems to be working but now I don't know if its on or not and have have to keep checking to be sure. My old Crock-Pot lasted years .. this one 2 weeks before not working as it should. Don't waste your money!

Terrible appliance. Had corned beef and cabbage cooking when I smelled something . Lifted the crock out of the base and liquid had leaked from the crock and burned on base. Put crock back in to get something to try and wipe it up and when I lifted it out again the bottom was still in the base. This is less than a year old!!! I saw other reviews with same issue. Should have read them first before buying this. I will never buy this brand again!

UPGRADE TO THIS

If you’re a lifelong crockpot user, and you haven’t upgraded to a programmable version.. I highly recommend doing so. Being able to set it and forget it is a power play!

Crockpot starts smoking

The first time I plugged this crockpot in it started smoking and the outside became extremely hot. Thankfully I was paying attention or I am sure it would have started a fire.
