What Customers Are Saying
This tape measure appears to be a well-designed product with several useful features, including large, easy-to-read numbers, sturdy construction, and a reliable retraction mechanism. While some users reported issues with the tape bending or becoming damaged over time, the majority of feedback indicates this is a high-quality tool that provides good value. The spring-loaded retraction can be a bit abrupt, but the overall product quality and additional features like a double-ended hook make this a generally positive option for users.

Would RecommendIt's got a nice, smooth action. It extends fairly far (standout.) The markings are really easy to read without my reading glasses. It locks easily and securely. Essentially, it works really well and I like it.
Good tape for a reasonable price
Would RecommendOne of the best tapes I’ve used. The finger control is handy, and I like the gripe on the bottom so it doesn’t slide/retract when measuring lumber.
Good quality tape measure
I'm very happy with the quality of the Crescent Lufkin tape measure. It has a solid weight to it and it's made from sale heavier duty plastic. I've dropped it a handful of times and it has been no worse for the wear. It has a double sided hook that is fairly handy which none of my other tape measures have. It also has an area to grab with your finger to temporarily hold the tape in place if you don't need to lock it. I've seen this executed by another brand with a button which I liked a littl...
Some Pros - Some Cons
Would RecommendThis tape is a little quirky but has some nice features. Pros: The standout (shown at 10ft in the photo) is better than any tape I’ve used. It gets a little bouncy at 8-10 ft but it works and is sturdy and won’t easily twist. Thumbs up. The finger break is odd but controls the retraction which could be nice. The locking button is not easy to use. It works but isn’t designed to be easily engaged. I like the wide tape and the large letters. Makes doing solo jobs easier and easier to read...
Easy to read
Would RecommendThis is a nice sturdy tape measure. The tape feels thick and can extend out quite far before it bends. The numbers are large and easy to read. There is a “finger” lock for quick measurements. You use the pressure of your finger on the tape to keep it from sliding. The hook at the end can grip from both sides. Only one downside, would be nice if measurements were printed on both sides of the tape. Other then that it’s great, easy to use tape measure.
Spring broke in 6 months
Would Not RecommendIm renovatibg my new house abd every project i ebd up buying a few duplicates. Bought these tapes abd the spring on the 25’ broke around the 6 month mark of light INDOOR use. Cheap.
Very Nice Tape Measure
Would RecommendThe overall feel of the tape measure is nice and sturdy. It fits in the hand well and is easy to grip. The tape measure has a strong return spring while not being difficult to pull out the tape. What makes this tape measure different from other I have owned is the matter finish on the tape itself. The clip seems to be pretty sturdy too. The only issues that I have experienced are the stop catching on the end when you first pull the tape out and a smearing of the numbers. The smearing may be the ...
Feels durable and doesn't kink like other brands
Would RecommendThe Crescent Lufkin - Command Control-Pack 25-ft Tape Measure is a great addition to your toolbox. First of all, it feels very durable. Compared to other measuring tapes, the Crescent Lufkin - Command Control-Pack 25-ft Tape Measure feels like it was made of premium materials. The tape itself is rigid, I extended it out to over 8 feet with no kinks, and could have probably gone further as well, had I had more than two hands to hold my phone and measuring tape. The 360 degree end hook, is great, ...
Pretty Tough
Would RecommendPretty tough. Works fine after 5-6ft drops. Total of 4 rivets holding the end stop on the tape for durability. The tape is very stiff unlike some cheaper ones. My only complaint is that the tape does not have the fractional markings. Fractional markings make it easy to reference for home gamers such as myself.
Awesome features
Would RecommendThis is an excellent tape measure. 25 feet is enough to measure most things while also being lightweight but durable. I love the extra prongs on the front side of the tape which allow you to measure objects from different sides and still see the measurement. I also love the finger stop on the bottom of the tape. Only thing that could make it more amazing is a magnetic tip.
It's a tape measure
Would RecommendIt's a fine tape measure. It is stiff for the weight, seems rugged, and locks tight. The reverse hook works pretty good. It lacks some premium features such as a magnet on the hook but if you lose them before you use the premium features anyway, why pay for that?
Very visible
Would Recommendout of the box its very well made...tape is sturdy and should last awhile...its very easy to read and the lock works great on it...I highly recommend this tape It will last for years
user friendly
Neat little tool. Has everything needed to make measuring accurate. Fits in the palm of your hand. Not too small and not too big. Dropped couple of times not even a scratch.
Pro quality tape measure
Would RecommendThe Cresent Lufkin 25 ft tape is extremely well built. Definitely has a pro grade quality to it! I like the extra large catch on the end of the tape cuz it makes it super easy for line up and the crisp marks and large lettering on it make it very easy to get an accurate
Overall Pretty Good
Would Not RecommendI would not buy this item again. The retraction of the tape is sub par. I like the finger temporary lock and the large number readout of the tape. It seems to be fairly well built and doesn't feel flimsy. The positive lock is sturdy, doesn't slide.
