What Customers Are Saying
This tape measure appears to be a well-designed product with several useful features, including large, easy-to-read numbers, sturdy construction, and a reliable retraction mechanism. While some users reported issues with the tape bending or becoming damaged over time, the majority of feedback indicates this is a high-quality tool that provides good value. The spring-loaded retraction can be a bit abrupt, but the overall product quality and additional features like a double-ended hook make this a generally positive option for users.

Would RecommendBest measuring tape I have bought so far. Keeps rigid farther than other measuring tapes and exactly what I needed to measure the long fence line i have at home.
Great tape rule.
Would RecommendMuch better than the smaller cheaper tape I had before. Very sturdy and easy to use.

So much for "brand names"
Would Not RecommendAfter less than a month of normal use this flimsy tape started cracking from Oil canning and finally broke. Big mistake on buying this. Crescent should be ashamed if this is the best they can come up with.
Good value for price
Would RecommendMore compact than most tape measures, opens smoothly, has a nice matte finish on the tape
Not for a serious woodworker
Would Not RecommendTape doesn’t stay rigid past 34” horizontally or 42” vertical. End grip doesn’t hold in place. Waste of money.
Tape
Would Not RecommendThe hook on this tape is loose. There fore throwing my measurements off about a 8th. I dont understand why tape companies dont fix this problem.

Useless - choose a different option
Would Not RecommendTerrible. Supposed to be a 14’ standout but after using it just a few times, I’m Lu my to get a 8’ standout. I bought this while building a deck with the need for a q2’ standout. It never did give me 12 feet but now I am half of that Also, the lock doesn’t hold. I can extend the tape and because of the lousy standout, I have to lock the tape and walk down to secure the end. The movement of repositioning the end often causes the lock to disengage and the tape retracts partially. I almost s...

Blade is very easily damaged
Would Not RecommendI've been using a Stanley FatMax for ten years. It finally wore out, so I bought this to replace it. I like the easily visible numbers, the double-ended hook and the positive blade lock. And I can extend the blade 12 feet before it buckles, which is great. But after only a few weeks of use in my shop, the edges of the blade are getting damaged. I haven't dropped it or abused it. All the features in the world are no good if it won't withstand normal use.
This should not be happening, please return back to Lowes for replacement. Thank you
