Would Not Recommendpackaging for this thermost a c wire was not required for most. Well after some research on forums and installing a c wire is required for use. Complete garbage company that uses deceptive advertising. Don't buy avoid if you can now I see why all were opened and returned at one store I went to. This was my first time installing a thermostat, and the app is the more installer-friendly and user-friendly app for a device that I have ever experienced. I actually felt cared for and supported by the app. I normally go with the low-tech option, because I expect higher-tech stuff to be glitchy, but this was so smooth and easy!
