New Sensi lite

No c wire necessary for most installations which is a big plus for older systems and wiring. I got a deal on this thermostat with our energy provider. I installed it about a month ago. I am very impressed with this little thermostat. Very simple and straight forward no frills. Easy to program and has held great connectivity with my home network. Just what I was looking for. Also if you do want to install it with a c wire, they have instructions for that also.

I was able to install it myself to replace one really outdated. What a good feeling to be able to adjust the temperature to save energy costs and by my phone!

Love it

I really like how it comes on when it's just 1 degree off, rather than the 2 degrees of our former one. I also like being able to turn it on in the morning from my bed. I don't need one that is programmable.

Simple to use & efficient

This was a thermostat that I didn’t know I needed. It’s super easy to set up. Easy to connect to your smart phone as well. I love the simplicity of it all. I went from a best to the Sensi Lite and this thermostat was much more easier to set up !

great features and super simple to install!

I bought this about a month ago and I'm pleased as punch with my new thermostat. I love that I can control it from my iphone. I am a technotard when it comes to 'smart' appliances but this was so simple to install and set up. Highly Recommend!

Awesome product!

Have had this smart thermostat for approximately one month. We love having it connected to our WiFi and being able to operate it remotely, in the house or away from. I can always see the house temperature!

Wonderful thermostat

This is our first smart thermostat and it is wonderful! It was so easy to install and using the app on the phone has been so handy. We will never go back to a standard thermostat.

Would not recommend

Wired exactly how manufacturer instructed, but for some reason my AC unit will randomly kick on in winter(not a heat pump) while calling for heat. Constantly loses WiFi connection. Furnace set point changes to minimum temp allowed randomly. Ran on a older system with no common wire.

Easy to install and use

The unit was easy to install, simple to use. I would definitely recommend for someone who wants a simple thermostat.

Easy set up and integration with my Wi-Fi & phone

I tried a Nest thermostat. I did not like the interface with the thermostat it self and had no lock integrating with my router. I purchased a Sensi and was very please with the ease in installation and connection. The interface is much better than the NEST in my opinion.

Works while other manufacturers’ may not

Some controllers ( heat only) may not have 24VAC between Rh and common wire. Common wire is one of the 24VAC terminal at the controller. Sensi works well even in this case while Nest/ecobee don’t seem to work. Works well and easy to install.

App Guided Installation!!

I have been looking around for a thermostat that doesn’t require the common wire. I didn’t find any that I liked feature wise (too excessive). I wanted easy install, app controlled & ability to function with Alexa. I absolutely loved the installation app, step by step instruction's, even a man would follow the app! The simplicity of syncing it with your WiFi, scan a QR code and done. Schedule feature is also one I needed, this is perfect. There are some features with changing the fans timing etc...

Why Sensi

We needed a simple thermostat with remote control capability for a vacation home. It took me longer to remove the old, manual thermostat than it took to mount and wire the Sensi. Follow the directions and presto, done.

Simple, Smart and Easy to use

Maybe we’ll eventually get past the set up

This might be a good product but who the heck knows? Surely not us because we can’t get the freaking thing set up. It does not come with instructions but instead tells you to follow the prompts on the app. Well that’s great in theory except the app doesn’t tell you where to attach the wires. We kept ending up with extra wires and no clue where to attach them. There was no troubleshooting on the app and we couldn’t find any other third party source with answers. Tried Honeywell smart thermostat was not compatible with my system took it back and got the Emerson Sensi it worked great and easy to set up app worked great also I installed it all feeling kinda proud of myself it was actually very easy
