Beautiful & functional

Beautiful coffee maker that brews excellent coffee. It's easy to clean, looks great on our counter, and brews a pot of coffee in about 5 mins.

Love it!!!

Besides being a very good looking stainless steel and copper (stylish) coffee maker it’s super easy to control and the brewing of the coffee itself excellent. Plus, it has enough capacity for the amount of us coffee drinkers at home would normally brew.

unacceptable short lifespan

Made great coffee until it died after 6 months of casual use. Apparently this is a known defect. Tried contacting GE and while they were very nice, it was futile. Didn't do anything other than put me on hold. Time to buy something new....

I would love to give this coffee maker 5 stars. It does make good coffee, looks nice, and seemed built well. However I have now had 3 fail in the exact same way. They stop pumping water. The first one was replaced under warranty, which was good of them. The second maker failed in the same way, and the one that I gifted also failed in the same way. It brews a great cup of coffee consistently. Easy to setup and use.

failed after 4 months

It was fine when it worked. Lasted just over 4 months before it stopped brewing. Multiple attempts to reset and/or clean have not been successful.

Pot handle peels

Works well and looks nice, however; after only three months of use the handle is peeling. It has only been hand washed. For the price, I feel like the quality of the pot could be better.

Good coffee maker but bad quality

Bad quality. I got it less than a year and the copper on the handle keeps peeling off.

Great Hot Coffee.

The cafe drip coffee maker makes great coffee. Fast & hot. And it stays hot for a long time in the pot. Now we own two of them. The black and the silver model.

Love this Coffee Maker!

No issues with this coffee maker. Wifi feature is great and it is easy to hook-up. You can set the strength and temperature of your brew and can program auto start or turn it on with wifi feature whenever you are ready! We have the stainless steel model so there is no warming plate but coffee stays hot for a few hours. Great only if you love planned obsolescence

Looks great, makes great coffee, does not last. Didn’t even make it two years, but of course died post-warranty. Don’t buy this.

A very nice performing and looking appliance.

Have not had it very long, but so far it has produced very fine coffee.

Electrical issue

We expected more from a coffee maker at this price point. We have the model before this one without the WiFi and it does look nice but the knob stopped working correctly so it takes us extra long to try get it to stop on the right number anytime we change the number of cups or time. Very frustrating.

Poor quality

The carafe is completely peaking and cracking. Always hand washed. How can I replace ?

Buyer Beware

My maker died after 2 months of use (no heat and it won't brew). GE is refusing to honor their warranty. It took writing a bad review here to get someone to contact me. Interestingly the original review is gone. They are flat out refusing to fix this because I don't have a receipt because it was a holiday gift, despite that I registered my coffee maker with them upon receipt. Good Coffee, Cheap Carafe

I've had this coffee maker for a little over 2 years. It still makes great coffee, but the carafe is falling apart. The finish on the handle is bubbling on the top and corroding on the underside. I'm sure the handle is going to detach like so many other reviews have mentioned. There also a good amount of water trapped somewhere in the walls of the carafe, likely getting in through the corroding handle. Good coffee, poor design, difficult to clean

Makes a good pot of coffee, but it’s a pain in the butt to clean! Every day I have to deal with trying to get coffee grounds off the lid and the filter area. Bought it because it claims to Have less plastic than most coffee makers, but the filter area is still plastic So I’m still dealing with plastic getting hot

Perfect cup of coffee

I love this coffee maker! It brews delicious cups of coffee in very little time . It looks beautiful with my other cafe appliances, all of which are perfect! My only recommendation would be to brew 12 cups instead of 10.
