Makes great tasting coffee

This coffee maker makes excellent coffee and is easy to use. Love that I can start it in the bedroom and get a notification when brewing is finished before going downstairs to the kitchen. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for over two hours.

Not that so good

This is a good drip.i had a bunn for about 10 years and I find this make similar but do not recommend if you are not seeking a short life one that will look terrible within a year.

Great but handle always rusts.

Beautiful machine except that the handle rusts and breaks- this has now happened with 2 replacements. I see that many others have complained about this- there is clearly a defect and no fix from the company except to keep buying replacements until they rust and break again.

Coffee Tastes Great with Bad Handle

We really like this coffee maker other than the issue that happened this morning. There's a rust forming at the handle and it became the weak spot and broke off. Will have to use it without the handle until we decide to buy the replacement at some point..

Limited use

Makes great coffee fast, however once a year it goes down and I have to purchase another one…. This is my third one in two years

Great but need improving

After a year of ownership copper plating started to corrode and peel. Metal filter came undone from one of the seams and lets coffee grounds in the pot.

Beautiful but has issues

We have loved our Cafe coffee maker, so much so that we have encouraged other family members to purchase one as well. Unfortunately, after a short period of time, the digital lights on the display have started to burn out. Too late to return it but buyer beware! Please fix this feature as you have the best looking coffee maker out there - a few tweaks and I'll buy it again!

LED lights burn out

It's been a good coffee maker but our LED lights are burning out making it difficult to see the time and make coffee.

thermal carafe does not keep coffee hot

brand new used it about 6 times..bought the model with thermal carafe. returning it tomorrow. the coffee doesn't brew hot enough and is cold within 10 minutes of brewing. I do not recommend this product. it is pretty though.

LED lights burned out quickly...is there a fix?

After having this coffee maker for one year, the LED lights have mostly burned out on the display, making it difficult to tell the time or select how many cups you are brewing. The unit is also very difficult to clean on the inside and out (particularly the white model). It brews a decent small pot of coffee, but the appearance has gone down hill quickly, even after taking good care of it.

Looks great (you already know that), brews great!

This is a great looking countertop coffee maker that also brews a very tasty cup of coffee. There are enough setting to adequately control the temperature and brew strength, but not too many to discourage using it until you find the right settings for your taste. Also, I really enjoy that the carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours without heating it as with a hot plate. There have been a few quality control issues with the digital display. Makes Great Coffee with Nice Remote Features

Love the way it looks on our counter, makes excellent coffee for being a bit of a coffee snob. Enjoy the remote control and status features. The descale works well considering we have hard water, but we do filter it.

Great unit with some finish flaws

Absolutely love the coffee making element of this machine. Replaced my Breville for this and did not disappoint. The one flaw I need to call out is similar to what others have posted. The finish on the handle is cracking and bubbling and fluids get inside the walls of the carafe where you have standing water inside of it. I am on my second one and the same exact issues are occurring with my first one.

Too Expensive to Crack

I’ve had my coffee pot for only a few months. The problem I have isn’t with brewing the coffee that works great… it’s the white part of the coffee pot basically breaking and peeling off. The coffee pot is new and hasn’t been moved but it’s cracking!!!

This thing makes good coffee, but the controls are very difficult to understand, particularly the clock/timer!

Beautiful & Functional Coffee Pot!

Unpacking and assembling the coffee maker was a breeze. Connecting to WiFi posed no issues. Scheduling brews on both the machine and app was seamless. The first pot, brewed on the gold setting, was truly impressive! The sleek design and compact size of the coffee pot make it a welcome addition to my kitchen countertop. I also appreciate the thermal design, which prevents steam from rising onto my cabinets. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Brew completed SOUND ALERT LOUD

Love this coffee maker! Would rate it a five star if the brew ready alert sound (3 loud beeps) could be muted. The whole house will hear it! Not so good for those wishing to sleep in longer. Other than that, love the coffee and double walled stainless steel pot. Cool on the outside, hot on the inside.

Amazing While It Lasted

Gosh we loved the look and performance of this coffee maker while it held up, but of course, right after the limited warranty, the handle of the pot started chipping away. For what we paid for this, this issue shouldn't happen, especially given how we used the coffee pot (totally normal use and handling). We love our other Cafe appliances (refrigerator, toaster, etc.), but we wouldn't recommend the coffee maker given the chipping issue, which seems to also be a problem for others (so QA issue or...

Will fall apart within 6 months

Don't waste your money on this product. The gold paint wears off within less than 6 months of purchase. It's very difficult to clean. If you purchase the item in person, be sure to save your receipt. GE will not accept your credit card statement showing the purchase if it was in store. For the price point, I was shocked at how quickly it fell apart. GE is aware of the issue based on other reviews but they haven't fixed it and won't replace it. Disappointing purchase
