Decent coffee maker terrible construction and dur.

Most of the functionality for this coffee maker works fine. And it especially keeps coffee at the right temperature for quite some time. Having said that it’s not made that good. The front panel from day one kept falling off the faux copper handle is already bubbling up from washing it and the white surface coating of the pot is falling off as well. The white has held up pretty well to coffee stains.

Good coffee but falling appart

We bought it because it matched our cafe induction range. The copper ring under where you put the grounds in has black where the copper color is. Where it says cafe under the water tank plastic has a chip. The handle broke off the pot I supper glued it but it only lasted a month. It makes great coffee but i have to use 2 scoops more than my previous coffee brewer. We have used GE products our whole life 59 years married. Very disappointed in this product. Not the quality we are used to from you....

Coffee not hot

My husband purchased this coffee pot early on when building our new home because he loved that it matched the appliance. Every day it’s the same issue. I have a cup right after it’s brewed but he has it about a half hour to 45 minutes after & it’s never hot. We have the temp setting at the highest. Is this to be expected or is there a problem with our unit?

Best Autodrip coffee maker I’ve end owned.

One of the best coffee makers I’ve ever owned. I’ve tried every brand and type of coffee maker over the years and this one gets an A+ across the board. Taste, functionality, style, ease of technology integration and MORE! Highly recommend.

Functional and Aesthetically Pleasing

I was wary of this coffee maker as it didn’t have a burner like traditional coffee maker I have used previously, and I have never used a “smart” coffee maker before. But after learning it I must say I love it. The design and material of the coffee pot keeps the liquids hot for hours even though there is no burner. Best Tasting Coffee, but sacrifices parts quality

I love this coffee maker. It makes a great pot of coffee. It’s also very elegant looking in my kitchen. However, as others have complained already the “copper” coating has chipped with only delicate hand washing and the handle is now flopping around with no way to tighten it. I have to put my hands around the pot to pour coffee. At this price range, neither one of these things should be happening and the thermos quality should be a lot better. I’d like to replace it but can’t seem to find any so...

great design poor quality

I have the Cafe Specialty coffee maker C7CDAAS2PS3 in stainless and copper and only use it a couple of times a month or on weekends and the handle on the carafe broke off. Beautiful product but doesnt seem to be very sturdy especially if Im not using the appliance daily.

Nice machine but coffee pot outer paint chips off

We love this coffee machine and its smart functions. The only issue is that after a while, the paint on the handle starts peeling off. The machine is beautiful and we love to display it in the kitchen but with the paint peeling off, its not attractive to display any longer.

Delicious voffee

Very happy with this coffee pot. We use it in the gold star setting and the strength and temperature are perfect. Best coffee we have ever had at home. Much better than a machine of similar cost that we had been using.

Beautiful and simple coffee brewer

Gorgeous countertop appliance with a simple and easy to use app that makes programming brews and descaling a snap. The app also communicates with and controls my other kitchen appliances so it’s a perfect solution.

Great brewing features

Love that Cafe has so many matching appliances with the gorgeous finishes. Plus all the features are on the coffee maker are just icing on the cake.

Cafe brews liquid gold!

we love the Cafe. the coffee is so rich and flavorful. we had no idea we were drinking “sad” little coffee until we brewed a pot in the Cafe. well never go back.

Quality finished coffee.

Love the coffee and the plethora of settings. It impressively does a first drip to create and capture the bloom of the coffee grounds before proceeding with the rest of the brew cycle. Biggest complaint? This sucker is so stylish, but within months, the copper finish on the carafe handle began to peel/chip away. We are not putting it in the dishwasher or using harsh chemicals. The handle and the base of the carafe now look 10 years older than the machine. I cannot seem to find a replacement...

Simple and Sophisticated

I will update this review if anything goes wrong, but so far so good with this machine. Easy to use and makes a GREAT cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

Wondering

Love hate situation. Can't figure out how to actually clean the reservoir.... daily open to allow condensation to dissipate. Often using less than 10 cup freshly ground beans and having introduced filters, the grounds container leaves water and splatters nicely! ! all over inside. I clean daily and we have changed filters etc. Wondering why?

Super disappointing

I really wanted to like this machine. It looks great and I’ve always found GE to make good products. But this coffee maker is the worst. Water started collecting inside the walls of the insulated carafe and the coating chipped off easily. I had to call three times to get it replaced. I only wash the permanent filter by hand and yet the mesh pulled out from the frame and I’ve had to buy a new one. It’s a weird shape, so you can’t get it anywhere else. Delicious coffee, fast, hot, perfect every time!

Tried a variety of coffee maker, even a few SCA one that felt honestly over priced. They one showed up damaged and the other just felt cheap. After a bit of more research and seeing this was SCA as well we went for it. Coffee is perfect temp and brewed quick. I couldn’t believe how great the coffee taste either. It’s better than a coffee shop, right at home. Thankful for the find and highly recommended.

Horrible filter basket quality

Mesh filter basket will repeatedly break. I am on my 3rd filter basket already. Each one has been hand washed right away and they still break

Broken and no way to repair

The machine no longer works after using for 6 months and then not using it. This appears to be a common problem with no solution and no support by GE.
