Leaks Oil Like a Sieve

Purchased this a couple of weeks ago. Unpacked it a day later and assembled it, thinking I'd get that task checked off my to do list before heading inside to change clothes and do yard work. I unscrewed the oil fill plug, and carefully poured the contents in, not spilling a drop. A moment later I felt a liquid running down the front of my favorite shirt. Enjoyed the amount of power it has and the swappable attachments. What i don't appreciate is the trimmer head exploding into pieces and nearly taking me out at the shins. Never did find the one eyelet that the string has to feed through and of course can't find a replacement head anywhere locally. Really wasn't worth the money and should have stuck to my 25yr old troybuilt 🤦🏻‍♂️

Fell apart after a couple hours of use

Not worth the money, screws fell out of the motor. Trimmer guard rivet just breaks loose. Trimmer head and gear seized up. Nothing but the motor itself has a warranty. Do not buy.

Craftsman Weed Eater

It works really well. I personally didn't use it, due to allergies, but my son loved it. It didn't take hardly any time to weed eat two yards.

I like craftman and kobalt products, because I use them till I wear them out. then I use my warrenty to get another because they are good products.

1 year disposable weed wacker

Do not lose your receipt or you will not get anywhere with Lowes or Craftsman. The only reason I went to Lowes was because I wanted the craftsman product. Well after one year this thing is seized up and Craftsman wont do anything without a receipt and Lowes cant seem to find it. After hours of talking with Lowes and Craftsman trying to figure this out I guess its time to buy another one. I had also bought all the attachments but they are no good if the trimmer wont run. At least my craftsman mow...

Wouldn't recommend to an enemy

used twice, motor mounting screw fell out somewhere in the yard. paid $16 for a replacement, fell out same day. worst trimmer I've ever used. runs rough when it does run, doesn't feed line well. buy literally any other brand, I'm avoiding craftsman like the plague.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yep love the 4 cycle. I run straight tru fuel in the unit. Replacing the line is quick and simple. I purchased as a seasonal throw away cause they normally don't hold up but its surprising still going.

Third time buying replacement. Lasts 3-4 yeara with what id consiser normal use for trimmer, edger and blower attachments.

Good for a year

Don't lose the receipt because you will have to return after a year. The drive shaft will start slipping and won't engage anymore. I will never buy another craftsman weed eater again, Your just buying a name there is no quality, piece of junk and can't afford to replace it...
