I was excited the product arrived 2 days early. However, it was badly beat up and looked like I was sent a used unit. the factory box was retaped, and the lowes shipping box arrived opened.

No good

Has no power, loud and use more gas. it takes 2 tanks to finish my yard. Toro was much, much better. Will never purchase another, if it was free I wouldn't accept it!!

Do Not Waste Your Money/Time

Purchased this unit as it was the only one in stock that was not over $400. Got it home and began assembling. Assembling was a breeze and took less than five minutes. Added 93 oct ethanol free fuel and the oil that was included in the box. Started up no issues. Began cutting the ditch at the road and the bump head would not function. After 10 minutes of use the engine stopped completely. Took it back to Lowe’s and purchased a Stihl from ACE.

Dont try and return without a box!!!

Worked great 1st time of use when bought, went to go use for the 2nd time and string wouldn't pull out and the oil case was leaking oil everywhere. Called lowes to explain issue, just got pushed back n forth and then they decided not to return item after only having it for 5 days since purchasing. Couldn't and WONT return without the box, who Keeps boxes??? Called Craftsman another Joke....said return to store .... still trying to get this issue solved or my $300 refunded back. What a joke and b...

Another great Craftsman product.

This Craftsman trimmer started immediately and has run wonderfully.

I just bought this today, took it out of the box, assembled it, and filled the oil reservoir and watched it leak out all over the tailgate of my truck. Boxed it up and took it right back. Never even got to use it.

No repair shop works on craftsman

I bought the WS 4200 trimmer July 2023. it worked great the three times I used it that year. One week before the purchase anniversary it quit working . engine ran great but attachment did not get power. Called the number to get warranty service and was given three different shops to get the work done. I called each shop and got the same answer that they did not work on craftsman. So the bottom line is that there is no real warrantee on craftsman trimmers. you are on your when you buy their tools...

Cuts thru all the stuff like butter.

Like the ease of use with just add gas no measure calculations.

It is quieter than the last one.

I appreciate all the attachments from the old product work on the new one.

Good for small jobs.

Easy string loading and start. It is heavy for long use. Keep oil reservoir elevated.

Gas Beats Electric

Beats electric by far; takes less time to do job; vice having 3 batteries for the electric. Easier to handle and less time spent waiting for charging batteries. Does complete job quickly and thoroughly.
