Great name and product

It works like a commercial tool, very strong

Don't buy products unless live close to a store.

Product was damaged right out of box. Told me I had to return to a store which I do not live close to one.

CRAFTSMAN 30-cc 4-cycle string trimmer

Very happy with this trimmer so far ( Several days of use). No need to mess with mixing gas/oil. Attachments work well and are easy to change out in a couple minutes. Trimmer loads string easier than anything I have ever owned or operated. Enough power for the brush cutter and tiller attachment too. First time start was easy just pay attention to the instructions to do so.

one time use product

I have bought a craftsman 4-cycle trimmer from store, and start first time looks great. after 2 days I want to use it, I can not start engine, the start code can not pull out. it was broken.

Parts need replaced too often

I've had mine about 3 seasons here in Michigan. I got it for around the house. I liked the idea of it being a 4 stroke and not having to mix fuel. The trade off is it doesnt have the same zippy power as a 2 stroke but it does work good enough for home usage. The fuel tank is small, the fuel filter is bulky and on the end of the fuel line. Buyer beware.

Pull string spring popped loose by third use. This requires almost full disassembly due to placement. I have repaired this twice. Now it does not have spark. This would be an easier repair, but I have owned less than 6 months and I have spent more time repairing than using. So I have finally swapped brands completely even though I have all the attachments.

I WAS TRAINED BY THE HEAD MECHANIC WHO HAD GONE TO B&S 3 COURSES=1 EXTRA FOR SPECIALISTS. "IF IT DOESN'T START ON TWO PULLS SOMETHING IS WRONG !!". MAGNITO IS BAD AND WILL NEVER START !!!

Do Not Buy

Bought this Trimmer in 2024 used it for weedwhacking and tiller in garden. Season 2025 Start I went to change the bump head out for different one and gear box cast shattered. call warranty put in claim, its been sitting in repair shop all summer. call once a week, parts backordered. Do Not Buy.

Sad , the craftsman name no longer means quality.

What a disappointment. I knew the brand had fallen off but this is just sad. The head design may be the worst I've seen as it tends to need some sort of work within each line refill. I run all my small engines completely out of fuel before storing for the winter. This is the first time I have ever had a problem getting a trimmer started in the spring after adopting this practice. Poor quality

This trimmer died out on me within two years of owning it. I thought craftsman built long lasting products! I had previously wrote a review on it which Craftsman auto replied they would reach out but they never died! They care about their customers anymore!

just fell apart

This weedeater just started to come apart. Screws will not stay tighten and I was dumbfounded when the engine fell off.

Just after 30 days
