Very disappointed in this weedwacker

The pull start broke after 3rd use!! It won't recoil which looks similar to other complaints on this thread. Sounds like a QC issue. I should have stuck with my Troybilt, but switched to the 'upgraded' 27cc Craftsman model.

Not Happy!

Cutting head flew off on its 3rd use. And all 3 times it was barely Used. I'd be surprised if it had more then 2 hours on it.

Broke after 2 uses

Pull start broke after 2nd use. Unable to find replacement parts. This is the second one- we bought the first one last year and it broke after the end use- different issue- we returned it bought this one - used it twice last fall. Broke when we tried to start it for the first time this year. Picture of the broken piece. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Nice tool so far, only used one day.

So far so good, cranked right up. Good power. Recommend the 2 cycle vs the 4.

been buying craftsman for years

been buying craftsman yard equipment years! had a 20 year old weed eater made by craftsman that never quit! It finally died so lowes now sells craftsman yard tools. went there in october 2021! bought this ws2400 used it about 3 times and winter hit! got it out last of march 2022! Ran good and fired right up! went weed eating for about 20 minutes! Junk

I've bought two of these and something breaks every year and when you try the warranty that you purchase with it it's such a pain it's easier to go buy another trimmer. I have all the attachments, so I guess I'm stuck going to buy a third one or try to sell them for parts lol. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Had to give one start to submit but I don't think it deserves that.

Bought this product to replace an echo string trimmer i had. First off it had plenty of power, it was easy to string up with the wind up feature. I like the bump technology to make the string longer. You can also press the red button by hand and pull the string to elongate it. Only draw back its a touch heavy. Starts like a typucal craftsman product NOT on the first pull. Terrible Product Nothing But trouble

After using the trimmer twice the recoil broke on the pull start. Next the head that holds the string fell off and will not stay on. I replaced the recoil once but it broke again. I cant find a replacement part for the string head so it is useless now.

Oil soaked

Package bottom was soaked in oil. It is a Christmas present and will not be opened until then..

Broken Head

Bought this product to adhere to my height with the length of the shaft. Used the product 3 times and while cutting the edge of the driveway and the head completely broke off. Very disappointed and discouraged as I can not find a manual to find the replacement part!

Pull start broken

Used the WS 2400 3 times now the pull start will not retract.

String trimmer sux - engine is good

The engine starts up and is pretty powerful. The trimmer part - who designed this thing? Why can't you make it simple enough to just wrap the sting around and it pops out the eyelets?
