i bought the cmmt77693 on March 17. I decided to see if there any updates available. when I tried to download the software update. It wouldn't let me. said it's not safe. I have windows 10. Which in the quick start guide it says you need. If I can't update this, what do i do? Looks like a nice product. Hate to have to return it.

Would Not RecommendSeems many people have been having the same issue I am unable to put the complete serial number in the serial number field during registration. I have noted that my 3 attempts to register the product seems to have completed and shows 8 characters of the serial number. Even though the product is showing registered I am unable to check for software updates. What is the most current version of software for this unit and how can I update my OBD2 unit. Worst OBD code reader I ever had
I bought an Automotive OBD2 Code Reader CMMT77693 three months ago and it was so confusing on how to used it. Instruction was not explainable. Printer data is not working. a lot of option but most of them can't be use at all. It's almost like buying the OBD1. Reason I am giving it 1 star is because the Battery tester was awesome. That's the only thing that work for me.

Great product, issues with website
Got it today for Christmas went and hooked it up to my car worked like a charm went to check if it was up to date and the website won't let me register the product I keep getting an error code because it won't let me type the full serial number in so I can't get it to update. As soon as I get thus sorted out I'll definitely rate it at 5 stars

Would RecommendThis is a great little tool that does exactly what most auto owners require. If you are a tech it may not give all the insight you need, but for the price it’s excellent. The updates work well if you FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, if you can’t read and follow directions don’t blame the manufacturer.
