Works flawlessly right out of the box.

I bought one of these recently, mainly for viewing live engine data. Right out of the box it worked without issue. The loading time between screens is about 1 second, it took about 6 seconds to download data when checking for any codes. I spent about half an hour using the unit and trying all the functions. The screen is easy to read and the amount of data and feedback the scanner provides is more than I expected. My only complaints are that the included instruction manual lacks a chart showing ...

So far this tool is amazing, I enjoy seeing live data. reading error

Just purchased, followed directions for software updates and the software updates will not update, so the code reader will not read. Tried on 2 vehicles and both vehicles read the same Error. Can not get software link below to download updates. Help!

Horrible equipment

this scanner would not connect to any of my vehicles, and willonly power on if connected to a power source via the USB port

Great product, but cant update.

I purchased this product from a flea market but I cant update it because it says my serial number does not exist on the update software I have downloaded from the review's answer that another person has said they cant find the update software. Other than that, great product. Please help.

Can not update without winzip subscription

I am sure this is a nice scan tool , seems a little cheap to the touch , very plasticy , you need to jiggle the usb plug in it to get it to work off of the computer , But you CAN NOT update it if you do not run Winzip , I do not , so getting updates are not going to happen .Returning it as soon as I can for refund. One should not have to pay for the product , then have to pay more for a service to do updates...

Awesome value and easy to use

I tried others sub $80 OBD2 scanner on the market most of them are way to complicated to understand with all the acronyms and short words for what something meant. This first of all is very affordable, the quality is okay. Second of all it does the job very well on my 09 Civic, it read codes, it has up and down buttons to scroll through all the options. In short, this is very user friendly, something you can use out of the box without reading instructions. Very easy to understand.

No way to update

Bought this 2-weeks ago and there isn't anyway o update or check for a update

Blown away with what you can get for $50

I purchase this yesterday in hopes that it would be someone decent what I found out was that I was completely blown away that it had more useful options that I've used in other high dollar devices. I highly recommend this device as it's an actual steal of a deal!

No way to update

It doesnt work on most vehicles ive tried multiple and the only one that it worked on was my 2003 silverado. I tried to update it but you follow the directions to do that but there is no place to get the software to update it.

Cant beat the value

This has more features and a great color screen than any reader I've ever seen at this price. I mean by a long shot.

Great Code Reader

I've used it on both my own vehicles and on others with Check Engine codes on. I like that it gives the code plus the meaning of the code and part that needs changing and it gives live data and lets you print out sheets. You cant beat the price for this reader.

Worthless do not buy

Bought this scan tool because my normal one is down and why not have a backup... Literally will not connect to ANY vehicle. Tried it on a 04 trailblazer, a 12 versa, a 10 dodge avenger, and a 99 2500 dodge ram. None of them will connect. If I could give less than one star I would. DO NOT BUY!!!! WASTE OF MONEY! Going to return tomorrow after work. Craftsman brand you have lost a loyal customer.
