Great and affordable laser printer
Have had this laser printer in my home for over a year. It is the best printer I have owned for regular printing needs with high quality resolution and efficient output. I recommend it highly.

Was originally online that it accepted a second tray well we purchased and have been using then trued to add a second tray and it actually is not compatable and does not work. Sadly i have no recourse now but to buy a new printer which i will, but not from brother -

Would not recommend.
I've always been a fan of Brothers printers however this model fails, substantially, in comparison to others. It is slow, pages curl upon printing (from rollers), ink usage is faster than expected, it goes into sleep mode far too soon, and always wants to print on both sides of the page. Two-sided printing is extraordinarily slow. Would not recommend.

Goes through toner quickly and data must have been stolen because we now receive almost weekly brother spam calls and cannot get the fax machine to work

Doesn't do what i want it to do
I wished I hadn't bought this printer the two things I wanted to do was print catd stock paper and print small envelopes which it doesn't do.

The Brother laser printer is the way to go
We have been through three inkjet printers in less than 4 years and the document feeder broke on all three. We finally got smart and went to a laser printer and bought the Brother printer. It is working great and hasn’t jammed once yet.
