Great purchase for the price!

I love my serger! It is easy to thread and sees like a dream. The only suggestion that I would make us that the colors used to color code where to thread the machine are hard to distinguish and would be easier if they were more of a contrast between them. It is a great machine for the price.this is my second server and I would recommend it to everyone.

Regular workhorse!!!

This machine is very easy to thread and it STAYS threaded!!! Runs great and doesn’t flinch at all no matter what fabric I run through it! Just highly recommended it to a friend!

Well, I though my Serger was. Dream come truth, until the thread broke. I have been working on the machine for hours and still has not got it working. Once threading the four threads It will break or gather under the foot. I cannot keep the lower looper thread in the slot, and when threading it according to the instructions it gets too tie . New to Serging 1034D

I'm an experienced seamstress new to serging and found the 1034D's design and layout made getting started easier than I expected. The tutorials provided were enough information to complete three garments the first week with the machine. I'm pleased with the quality of the machine and the stitches. It is easily adjustable to handle very light weight knit fabrics I intend to serge frequently.

Why did I wait so long to buy a serger?

I always thought the serger looked difficult and confusing to operate. I opened the box, plugged it in and away I went... truly amazing how easy it is to operate and nice a job it does finishing the edges. Why did I wait so long to buy a serger? The instructions were easy to follow and the various video's available took the fear out and I love this machine.

After reading several reviews, I went ahead and purchased this machine. I've been using it everyday for the last month and I LOVE it! It is easy to thread, which was a big concern for me.

Replacement for worn out serger

My Singer serger died after a very useful long life. I used to sew clothes and bridal dresses for the public. I only sew for my family and friends now. Easy to Thread...

Machine is very easy to thread. That was one of the most important concerns I had about a Serger machine. I got it and just love it. Love the speed too and all the xtra attachments too.

Easy Peasy

I found The Brother 1034D very easy to understand and use, every thing is color coded and marked for following along. You can find YouTube videos that show step by step instructions so that you will feel like you are taking a class. The hardest part is finding time in your busy day to use it.

I've had the same serger for over 25 years. It finally gave out so I decided to try a Brother. What a great machine. Easy to thread, great instructions and multiple feet and stitches makes this a must have. Oh, by the way, you can't beat the price.
