It's a keeper

I received this for Christmas. I don't know if I would've picked this one out since it isn't carried or supported at my local fabric store, however, I love it. So far, so good. The online videos really helped me break the ice to begin sewing on it. This is my very first overlock machine and I'm very happy thus far. And a different service store within 7 miles does offer free classes! I would highly recommend it to anyone who asked.

This machine is awesome it cuts it sews and finishes all of my products quickly and with ease everything I do now is finished beautifully and it cuts the time I used to take in half!!! awesome machine!!!

Great Serger

Good Quality Serger

The Brother 1034D is a very good serger. It has a few stitches and will serge many types of fabric. It is a very good starter serger for a beginner. It is color coded which makes the threading easier. The place to hold the stitch finger is very convenient. Overall a very good purchase.

This is my first purchase of a serger. I had checked reviews and the Brother 1034D was a top choice for value. I am not disappointed. Greater starter machine and very portable.

Best purchase I ever made

This machine is awesome. IUcan make a complete beanie for the Turban Project in less than two minutes. It is easy to thread and even eisier to rethread when one thread runs out. Best purchase I ever made.

Very good product

Machine work perfectly well. So glad my hubby got it for me. Am enjoying every minutes. Though it's a bit complicated. But sooner I will get used to it.

Love this machine

Love it! Wish their were beginners tutorials projects to learn how to use it at its full capacity for this machine. So you can learn how to use the different settings for fabric and stitches

Great Machine

I have owned 2 sergers previously, this by far is the best! Easy operation and threading is so much easier than any machine I have previously owned. Tension setting is a breeze with this machine. I would recommend this machine to anyone who enjoys sewing.

Wife just loves it

I bought this for my wife and she just loves it. She found it so easy to use and she is so impressed on how it works. I bought it at a great price and it is worth every penny. Hen you look at the job it does you would think the clothing was bought at a store.

Brother 1034d serger

The brother 1034d serger is an excellent machine...was steering out of the box, within 15 minutes! It was already threaded. Very clear instructions. THANKS!!!!

Great serger

This is my first serger and I got it last year for Christmas. My husband wanted to buy it for me as a gift and we searched together to find the best one online. This model had the most and best reviews. It really is super easy to thread and works great.

Love it

This is my first serger, and I'm hoping to have it for a long time. It's easy to thread, it works well, and it's fun. I was really a little scared of sergers, and now I wonder how I sewed without it. It's a great compliment to my sewing room. Knits and fussy fabrics are easier to work with now, and finishing seams is a breeze. I'm in my garments much quicker and they're more professional looking. Great Buy for the money

I am very happy with this machine. I was looking for a basic serger and this one fit the bill perfectly. It has a really easy threading system which is also a feature I was looking for. Does a nice job and I couldn't find a better price. This is my first Brother purchase and I am very impressed with their products. I would definitely buy Brother again.

High Performance for the cost

I have been pleased with my machine. It was a replacement for another more expensive brand and I have not had any problem with the tension or feed on the Brother. I have only been using it for a month so I would like an opportunity to review it again in a year. Enjoying my machine.

Great Christmas

I have had my serger less than a month and used it for several garments. There are sooo many videos of people with the Brother1034D so there is virtually every question answered. The machine is easy to thread and not at all temperamental You can be versatile with the tensions, lengths, widths while you learn. Your fear is the only thing standing in your way. Not this machine!!

Good machine for the price.

The machine sews great and is very easy to use. I gave 4 stars because it is noisy. Also the tray for catching the scraps doesn't snap securely so works loose as machine vibrates when sewing. But for the price, it's very good.
