Good Generator but would not run my furnace.

This generator seems to be a quality product but was not capable of providing satisfactory power to run my gas furnace. The furnace blower would run but the gas valve would not open to start a fire in the burner. I didn't know the problem was with the generator at first so I called for warranty repair on my 98% efficient furnace. It was determined that nothing was wrong with the furnace (which was confirmed by connecting a different generator to it that had no problem operating the furnace) but ...

Saved Christmas

Early Christmas Eve Day, our power went out and in our area it goes out a couple of times a year. Decided it was not going to ruin our Christmas! Picked up the generator at Lowe's, got it home, put it together, fired it up and we had power. Our salesman suggested a transfer switch kit and that proved to work great! briggs and stratton generator

I purchased the generator when the one i had would not stay running. i am very happy with it. It seems to have all the power i will need and it is no loader than the smaller 1 that is now my back up.

Perfect size for a home

Great generator to own for emergency outages. The unit ran my home and my neighbors home. We kept 2 refrigerators a window air conditioner some lights and fans with problems. A great unit and a good price.

Product poor never buy another one

genetator cycled and vibrated caused electronic damage to my home. Engine not adjustable to loads factory set for general use. I would not recommend this as a emergency generator its poorly designed and not user friendly to your needs.

Does what it says...but, a bit loud.

First off, let me state that this is my first generator, so I do not have much experience with them.. This generator works great! It states that at half-load, it will run for 11hrs. and it DOES! I ran this generator for roughly 11 hrs. at roughly 50% capacity, multiple days. It was wonderful to be able to fill it and know that I'd be all set for the night and not have to continuously run out into the freezing temps to fill it multiple times.
