Worked great

Needed to cut pvc and cpvc. Recommended by salesperson. Worked fine if you squeeze slowly to keep the blade straight. Good price and worth the money.

Excellent cutter for Pex Tubing.

I am a relatively inexperienced plumber. This cutter made very clean, perpendicular cuts with minimal burrs. I could not have completed my project without it.

BrassCraft 1-1/4-in PVC Cutter

This cutter works extremely well on schedule 40 3/4" PVC pipe. Have not tried it on any other sizes but sure it will work. GREAT TIME Saver!

will not cut schedule 40 1-1/4" PVC

When trying to cut 1-1/4" schedule 40 PVC the gear racket bent and would not work. Piece of junk.

PVC CUTTER GREAT FOR HOMEOWNERS

Not very expensive and cuts PVC with a straight cut and powerful. Excellent for any homeowner that needs small jobs with PVC

Rubbish for CPVC

Can't speak as to cutting other types of tubing, so it may be fine for, say, PEX, but for CPVC I'd pass. Ratchet works but difficult to square and blade is junk.

Great little tool!

This is fantastic if you are working with pvc or rolled tubing that is < 1 1/4 " such a quick and easy way to cut tubing into smaller lengths!

Great cutter

Used it to plumb garage, addition, and existing home connections. Cut all my pex and cpvc up to 1in with no problems at all. Ratcheting mechanism works great.

Wished I'd bought these things long ago

Kept thinking a little job here, a little job there - don't need these! Just made everything quicker by buying them! Love them!

Brass craft 1 1/4 inch pic pipe cutter

Cut the pvc pipe with just a little muscle power. I just purchased it and will not know how long it keeps it cutting edge. Worked great when we used it to cut a broken pipe.

beat on the market for the price

I use mine for cutting plastic track molding, it jas the best ratchet system of any cutters I have tried and I have bought 4 different brands, these open the easiest and ratchet closed the best, for my purposes it is even better than the cutters with the razor blade

Doesn't cut PVC well

I bought this tool because I have a project to install a water storage and filtration system. I'm using 1" PVC for all the exposed plumbing, and was tired of constantly running to the miter saw to make cuts. Unfortunately this tool leaves a wavy and out-of-round end on the cut PVC, which makes gluing the fittings difficult. I'll be returning this tool and going back to making cuts on my miter saw. I did try this tool out on some 3/4" PEX and it works great. It's just not designed well enough...

Makes it easy

I have used other PVC cutters in the past but this one is the easiest to use of any of them. Less pressure required which has taken the strain off one of the muscles in my right arm.

Good PVC Cutter

It works great on 1/2 and 3/4 CPVC and PVC pipe. Cuts fast and straight on new PVC pipes. Great price!

Cuts Larger Pipes

Worked great for me. Very sharp. My old cutter only went up to 1" dia. This one will cut 1 1/4" ~ the size I needed.

Best Way to Cut a PVC pipe

I followed the directions and the tool performed exactly as I expected it would. Much easier than trying to use a hack saw on the pipe.
