Time Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ Lock mandrel is great. You can easily switch between different sanding disks and cut off disks. Aside from the ease of switching, The EZ Lock mandrel saves quite a bit of time changing different bits as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would absolutely buy more of these.

The EZ Lock Mandrel makes switching tools so much faster — I can get back to the task faster and get more done! Downtime between operations is minimized so it’s easier to stay on task and get back into the job where I left off. It’s an absolutely brilliant and necessary item.

GOOD RIDDANCE!! It is so nice to switch out discs without having to loosen the collet. This is a game changer!

No More Messing with Screws and Screwdrivers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Dremel EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel, no more screws to chase after, no screwdrivers to look for just push down on the lock, place your accessory twist and release, and your done. Removing is just as easy, pull down on the lock, and your done!

Quick action, easy on off! The flange was loose!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick action, easy on off! The plastic flange needs to be better secure. Wobble on the big due to the spring flange. Also made the gap tight to secure the bit. I’ve used this before so it is not normal.

Ingenious application of sanding disc mandrel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ease of locking/unlocking sanding discs is unparalleled. Depressing allows for simplistic installation/removal of sanding discs quickly. Discs are locked in place when installed. Ingenious. The mandrel is fully recommended.

Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mandrel and the ease of use are a game changer. I love the simplicity of the design as well as how easy it is to use. A lot of times, even when using my dremel, I could use an extra hand and thats not a concern with this mandrel. I have complete control of my tool and and the ex lock mandrel makes changing discs a breeze.

Great idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes changes bits so much quicker. I "get" to buy new heads to fit it, now, so for the majority of my work I won't be able to use this bit, but it is so quick and easy to use and to change the bits. And the bits are allowed a different for factor since the attachment point is on the bottom. For example, you get a full flat sanding pad instead of having a screw poking through.

A must have in your toolkit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ Lock mandrel works exactly as advertised. Allowing for easy and quick change of different heads. I have used it for sanding and cutting both wood and PVC. Just bear in mind that the heads you use have to be designed to work with the EZ lock. It's a real time saver compared to locking and unlocking heads with the clasic mandrel.

Quick and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using the EZ lock Mandrel. I was cutting metal pipe, and it was easy and quick to switch to a new blade. It was convenient to use too. I was working about 75 feet from the house and I didn't have to drag a lot of heavier tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ lock mandrel is a useful tool and easy to use. Instead of having to screw in a part you just push and twist to fit it in the proper space and you’re all good to go. I’ve used it with cutting discs and polishing parts with no issues yet.

Highly recommend

No more unscrewing to switch between bits. Couldn't thought of a better system for Dremel. I have already talked coworkers into switching over to the easy lock system.

Welcome improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ Lock Mandrel is an improvement that I truly appreciate. I have several Dremel tools that I use in my workshop out in the garage and use regularly. Changing attachments has become much easier and efficient with the EZ Lock Mandrel. The older mandrel required the use of a little wrench to loosen and tighten the attachment to the mandrel.
