Very nice

Added some speed to the versatility!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the EZ Lock Mandrel with the EZ414SA sanding discs to re-handle a hand pick. The quick change feature was perfect for switching grits on the fly. Like the name says, it was easy to use and importantly, very easy to tell when the attachment is locked in place.

GREAT IDEA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EZ Locks are great, great idea and they work wonderful. Easy to use. Save time. All you do is Pull down slip on new disk , turn and let go. It's that easy. Quickly change from one sanding disk to another fast. They work great, but could last longer; I went thur several quickly but was ding a lot of sanding.

Great Time Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Snapping in and out to keep the project moving quickly is a great time saver, otherwise I'd just do the things manually. Using this for sanding discs keeps me out trouble with how much time I spend in the garage away from the family on the weekends.

Love the EZ Lock Mandrel

Rapid tool changes, high build quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ lock mandrel is a vast improvement over previous tool-change components. There's no tiny screw to potentially lose, build quality is high, and swapping tools is extremely fast. I would like to see more attachments come on the market for the mandrel, as I'd love to never have to remove it from the tool. Paired with the sanding discs transforms the Dremel into a quick and easy solution for projects.

Great New Attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great way to attach sanding discs. You get to use the whole sanding disc, not just the outside edges. The old attachment with a screw in the middle took longer to attach the disc and did not allow use of the full sanding disc. It is a great new attaching device.

fast accessory changes

Simple and easy to use

Good upgrade from screw type mandrel

The screw type mandrel cutoff wheels were much thinner and used to snap easily compared to the EZ Lock cut off wheels. I started using the EZ Lock sanding wheels recently and find they work great and are convenient to quickly swap out between grits. Simple and Easy To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does what it says on the tin - this bit will hold larger sanding/cutting discs that need more torque support than the flimsy "cut off wheels" or small sanding shapes. Super easy to use - just pull the collar down and work the wheel on. NOTE: Being true capitalists, Dremel's mandrel will NOT fit other brands of cutting wheels (in my case, Ryobi). Quick change arbor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Receiving free to sample and use this mandrel is convenient that when used with the discs is a quick change without having the reinstall completed units disconnecting the arbor from the collet . hopefully there are different grades of materials being developed for polishing as well as sanding.

Best thing ever

Great item Easy use

EZ Lock Mandrel definitely put the EZ in the Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The old style mandrel with the screw and washers are a pain! I have large hands and constantly drop those little parts. This EZ Lock Mandrel makes changing cutting disks so easy and frustration free. It also allows you to get a little closer without that screw head sticking out.
