EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and easy lock mechanism. Just pull, twist, and release. The wide variety of EZ Lock accessories fit snuggly on this attachment; offering you broad range of materials you can cut through. Definitely recommend.

Great concept, design needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the concept of EZ Lock. The downside here is that this design does not do a great job holding the cutting edge in place - I have had it slip off on more than one occasion. When it does hold, it works great and the cutting edge is easy to swap out with another during jobs that require multiple edges.

Great idea and I see this improving in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great idea that saves a lot of time. There should be more attachments available for it. Part of my dislike about the tool swap is the tiny screw. This effectively replaces that, needs more tools to go with it.

No more lose bits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great solution to losing bits to a lose screw, with a simple pull and twist. It’s slightly tough to pull down but better than looking around for something that flew across the room! Great work! Problem solved!

I’ll never go back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll never go back to the previous way of changing out attachments. This mandrel makes working with my Dremel so much more enjoyable and convenient. All of my old sanding disks and cutoff wheels have been pushed to the forgotten corners of my storage drawers to make room for the ez lock attachments.

EZ Lock Mandrel, Easiest Tool to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This EZ lock mandrel is the best, At first when I looked at the concept I was skeptical, then I tried it, the mandrel worked well,Simple to use and simple to operate. This mandrel holds the bits on securely without no fuss, and it even comes with instructions. Just be sure the blue bumper sits on the lock.

Great addition to my Dremel !

I recently used my polishing disc to remove the oxidation on my Jeep’s headlight. It worked just as I was hoping it would.

EZ Lock is Easy

No tools needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing that I like about the EZ402 Lock Mandrel is that I don't need to find my little screw driver to change out the cutting wheels. This speed up the process of cutting projects greatly. I have entirely turned over to using the EZ402 Mandrel for all my cutting disks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changing discs is very easy and fast, discs don't get damaged by the mandrel itself since the locking mechanism acts as a reinforcement. I would like to see more types of discs available for this mandrel.

E-Z lock mandrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the E-Z lock mandrel for all the applications I have tried it on. Secures accessories quickly and easily. Makes changing accessories a snap. I use it with both my 8220 and 4300 rotary tools primarily for grinding, sanding and cutting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With using the mandrel installed in my dremel tool I used the both abrasive brushes to make custom knife handles I used the abrasive brushes to clean out the groves on the antlers to remove the discoloration. All the brushes worked very well, starting with grit 36 and finishing with grit 220. Changing the brushes was very simple by laving the mandrel installed in Dremel tool.

Simple design and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how simple the design is and how easy it is to insert into the Dremel. This can work with different sanding discs. You just simply insert the mandral into the dremel and screw in to secure it. To attach the sanding discs, press down on the head of the mandral and place the disc on top of the lock design and twist until it is locked in.

Great Product

It is so much quicker and easier to change cut wheels ~!Makes it easier to change discs. Works as advertised. Just don’t drop it; you will never get it to work right if it gets bent even a little.

EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel is AWESOME!

I would recommend that the lip be flat instead of rounded to facilitate easier one-handed use. The user must remember to turn the accessory until the EZ Lock seats completely before use.
