Good laser measurer for the price
Would RecommendLowes has a good price on this unit. It is accurate and has good distance. My only complaint is that the red button is a little stiff and sometimes you have to push it 2 or 3 times before it locks in the measurement.

Returned. TINY fraction display
At first I thought it was rounding to the inch, with no fraction. Upon VERY close review, the fraction is displayed - but so small to be almost illegible.
Must have tool for architects.
Would RecommendIm an architect and sometimes have to measure existing spaces for as-built drawings. This was a perfect tool for that purpose. Easy to use, fits in my backpack and great quality and value for price.

Adding 4" to the measurement?
Would RecommendI'm only writing this review to help out anybody who like me, absent mindedly measures to the front of the unit, instead of the back, and does a search on why it's 4" off. I've had this for about 3 years and like it. Yesterday it kept adding 4" to the measurement. Now you know why. I have the same complaints as others. 1. The fractions are too small 2. You can't adjust it to read to the nearest 1/8, or 1/16th, it reads to 32nds. 3. The laser can't be seen in direct sunlight.
