Instructions???

I bought a Bosch Blaze 165-22. The tool is great. But the instructions really suck. I've had the laser measure for 2 months. I can't figure out how to 1. Erase memory, 2. subtract measurements, 3. Use any other features other than measuring because instructions don't tell you how to use it. I like this tool. I think I'd love it and give it a 5 star rating if the directions were available.

Don't know why I waited!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked and looked and looked, but finally made the leap to purchase this laser measurer. Out the box it has been valuable and awesome to work with compared to my tape measure.

Needed a Laser Measuring Device for outside!

I bought this device to measure outside, no where on the box or your web site does it say not for use outside. Just one little line in an obscure place in the manual does it say "This measuring device is suitable for measuring inside only". This little tidy bit of info should be on the outside of the package. This is going back to the store!

Decent bang for buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Accuracy is great! Wish i could select my Accuracy units from thirty seconds to sixteenths or eighths. Outdoor use is all but impossible, especially in sunny Las Vegas. A screen and cross hair would be nice, but obviously there are higher end models to satisfy that need.

Compact, Accurate and Dependable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this Pro 165 Laser Measure in my work. It is easy to use and fits in my shirt pocket. I have dropped it a few times (from about 3') and the device was not damaged. I will caution that it is a bit of a battery burner so carry some spare batteries. This is most evident in the cold weather, my batteries barely last 2 days in the cold.

Excellent features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GLM165-27CG just yesterday, but it is fantastic, and the Bluetooth connectivity to the MeasureOn app inspires me to get more detailed measurements of my rooms. Highly recommended!

Faster and easier measurements.

Excellent functionality. Fast and accurate measurements. I like that you can put it in inches only mode for doing trim and then use feet and inches for square foot calculations for flooring. I only use my tape for measuring cuts now.

Nice - but can use some refinement

Nice tool for sure.. I was disappointed that you cannot select the resolution of the measurement to round to 1/8 for example. Telling me a window is 21 11/32 wide is not helpful, while telling me it is 21 3/8 would be great! So, adjusting resolution to the application would be a win. Also the fractions are small and hard to read.

Excellent tool

Use it on my jobsite daily. Very convenient. Also handy as a laser pointer in out of reach areas.

The laser helps me to find the exact point in the walk. As a Realtor it is a great tool!

Works Great

I got this for quickly measuring things around the house. I've found it to be really easy to use. Distance readings are pretty much instantaneous. I went for this model for the jump up to 1/16 accuracy which is nice. Realistically I don't think I'll come anywhere close to needing the full range of 165 ft except maybe outdoors. At that distance you likely won't be able to even see the laser but if you're confident that it's pointing where you want it can still get readings. On an overcast day I w...
