The Bosch product line has always been known for quality products and this laser measuring device performs perfect.

Great but I was looking for something else.

It is fine, it does what it is for. But I am desperately looking for a Laser measure device that has the capability to round down to 1/8" ... I really don't see any use for 1/16" and less for 1/32" and least of all 1/64".... it is ok if somebody needs them, but why it doesn't have the capacity to round to whatever I want?

Drastic drop in quality from previous Bosch I had.

Bought one of these for work 10years ago and it was recently stolen out of my truck, it worked great and was hardy. This one is of noticeably lower quality. I don't have much faith in this lasting more than a couple of drops. It has some good functions which I no not need for my job.

Just once I'd like to see the engineer who designed something actually use it. This laser has some nice features for sure so this is more about usability. When you place this against a wall the measurement is displayed at the lowest portion of the screen which means the angle at which you read the display is at it's worst. The on-line price said $85.00. I get to the store and it's $90.00.

Name known for quality does not disappoint!

The product is very easy to use and feels like it is a quality product. I would highly recommend this product.

Love it for masonry layout!

This has been a great addition to my toolbox it makes pulling layout measurements easier, checking the guys wall heights so much easier and no more pulling a 100’ tape on elevator shafts. The stored memory is a huge plus my only complaint would be that it measures in 1/32 and it would be very nice to have the choice to make that 1/16 or 1/8 but overall it’s my favorite new tool !

This is an excellent measuring tool.

This is an excellent measuring tool. The only downside is that it is not rated for outdoors use. However, I have used it outdoors in the shade and it seems to work well. The reduced price made this a "must buy" as I have always wanted a laser measuring device. It not only measures distance but can calculate area and volume.

Problem initializing

This unit is 2 years old and only used a few times. Used it the other day and made a number of measurement and hung it up on the wall. Got it down today and it partially initializes; display illuminates, laser flases for 1 second the continuous measurement icon flashes, all buttons frozen, displays 0'-0" and after 10 s is shuts down. Not a battery issue.This is a quality issue (manufactured 5/21)

awesome LITTLE tool

This device is so small, it's half the size of the older version. Works flawless and measures only from the rear of the tool. The older model would measure from 3 different positions, which caused a problem when it changed position due to accidentally pressing the key to switch position.

Great for 81 days

Worked for 81 days then failed, making bad measurements (e.g. 2 ft when it's 19 ft) and then giving just "ERROR" when making measurements. Did not respond to lens cleaning nor change of batteries.
