It's just ok

My first impression was "Meh! It's a dishwasher." A few months later, I still feel the same. I don't understand all the glowing reviews. I purchased this dishwasher to replace a Kenmore Ultra Quiet that had stopped working after about 4 years. Honestly, the Kenmore was quieter and cleaned better at first. This dishwasher does not allow for spatulas, kitchen knives, or other cooking utensils in the bottom silverware compartment because the top rack sits too close. Anything taller than a reg...

Too quiet!

Holy cow, this thing is so quiet it's hard to tell if it's running. Clean dishes and virtually zero noise. Pretty amazing.

Don't like the racks.

I do not like the racks, they seem Light weight. The bottom rack keeps coming off of the track when pulled out. The racks are configured so it does not hold as many dishes as my old Maytag. It does do a good job of cleaning the dishes.

Don't buy! Bosch knows about draining problem

We bought this dishwasher about a year ago and really only use it after we have company, maybe once a month. I recently noticed that there is several inches of water left not draining after the cycle is completed. I researched online ; low and behold TONS of warnings and other customer posts on Bosch dishwasher draining problems. Do your research and go with a different brand. Obviously dishwashers are not the Bosch claim to fame. The good ratings posted here should turn to bad soon!

This dishwasher is perfect. It is extremely quiet and works flawlessly. Only one thing though, the loud beeping to indicate cycle change is annoying. The manual showing the settings for the beeping is an older print than this dishwasher so is not correct. Another lemon

Bought this dishwasher one year ago and used it for six months. I came back last week (early November) and it won't wash. Since I purchased Lowe's service plan, they have sent 2 service companies so far. The first service company didn't want to get involved. The second one told me that it needs a new motor so they are sending the report to Lowes and I have to wait for their approval. Wish me luck. BREAKS AND UNREPAIRABLE

I bought dishwasher 4 years ago. Stopped draining. After contacting a dozen plumbers and 5 appliance repair businesses, I was told that it is too time consuming and expensive to repair Bisch machines. all the workings are inside and sealed. It requires removing machine, taking off the sides, turn it upside down, and special tools, and often causes other breakage. DO NOT BUY

Cleans great but difficult to load

This dishwasher is quiet and cleans well. I do like that. It seems to be designed to wash normal cups, plates, bowls. I would encourage buyers to check out the configuration of the bottom rack before purchasing. If you want to put oddly sized items then loading requires careful planning and rearranging. This one STINKS

I cannot stop the stench. I clean filter every use but water stays in filter hole. I must remove water every use! I even used the vinegar as a wash as per instruction book but no improvement .

almost silent

When purchasing a new dishwasher my wife’s main requirement was that it be quiet. Our last one was so loud that you couldn’t watch TV in the other room with the dishwasher on. The Bosch Ascenta really delivers in this area. It’s so quiet that I’m sometimes not sure if it’s running. I’m guessing that’s why they have an indicator light to show that it’s doing so. We purchased this d/w 3 years ago. It is very quiet and perfect for general, daily dinner use. However, it is not practical for a large family or dinners.

Bosch Dishwasher

This dishwasher is the cat's meow. It is so silent you have to look to see if it is running. Dishes and hard to clean pans come out sparkling. Love it, love it. Every house husband and house wife needs this dishwasher.

No gross residue!

I compared the features of this model with the more expensive models and settled on this one. I was looking for a quiet model that cleaned well. I read the reviews on this model and the only negative seemed to be on service not the machine so I selected this as service has never been a problem with Lowes or their warranty for me.
