Installation and door latch issues

This is a fine dishwasher, but there are a couple of issues. The door would come open by itself mid-cycle, and the cycle wouldn't complete until you re-closed the door, sometimes more than once per cycle. After some research discovered that the metal brace across the top of the dishwasher isn't sufficient to prevent the tub from deforming enough to allow the door to unlatch. Wonderful

This dishwasher is so very quiet. The installer mentioned to run it on the 60 minute express cycle. We use the rinse aid. We don't use the extra dry button and the dishes dry well. We are very pleased with this dishwasher.

a lemon

I purchased a new Bosch dishwasher in late January 2016. After approximately 35 washes, it quit mid cycle, leaving water in the bottom. Bosch customer service recommended their contracted appliance repair company, who came out 3 different times, attempting to repair it. just installed today.

very quite, which was the reason I chose this model. Ran it through a test cycle and then used the rinse cycle this evening on the few dishes used for supper. I like the flexibility of the racks that allows for even awkward shaped and sized dishes to be loaded. My first impression is positive.

Unbelievably quiet

We needed a quiet dishwasher since we live in a small condo. My friend recommended Bosch. This dishwasher is so quiet you cannot tell it it running. In fact, there is a red light that shines on the floor while the machine is working. It cleans amazingly well on all cycles. Bosch Dishwasher

I bought this on-line because Lowe's didn't have the black color in store stock. When I got it home I found scratches on the control panel. Bosch has a 30 day cosmetic warranty, so I called the to get the panel replaced. After 7 days of calling them and getting the run around, I'm getting the panel sent to me. Time for an upgrade

After 16 years our dishwasher needed to be replaced. I did my homework and decided on a Bosch, based on online reviews and reputation. So far we've been very happy with this model. 46dB is EXTREMELY QUIET! My only con is that the buttons are located on the top of the door. Making it impossible to pause the cycle without pulling the door open. Still, no big deal.

Great buy!

We are very happy with this purchase. The alert that the dishes are finished is a bit excessive but a call to the Bosch customer service department walked me through how to shut it off. (The booklet was not very clear.) The different options on the racks sold us, everything fits perfect. This Bosch is kid friendly with the hidden buttons and no bar to hang on.

Really Cleans Those Dishes!

I have run this dishwasher at least half a dozen times since I purchased it, and am pretty happy with it. You can have dried-on food residue (egg yolks, etc.) sitting there for two days, run the dishwasher, and everything is immaculate. Good except end of cycle alarm

We purchased this dishwasher and installed it ourselves without much difficulty. It cleaned our dishes very well and seemed to be a good fit for our home. The end of cycle alarm caught us by surprise. It is a beep that lasts a few seconds and repeats itself 5 times. It does this every five minutes until the unit is opened or turned off. Very disappointed!

Unless you enjoy washing dishes before putting them in the washer and then hand drying them do not buy this unit. I scape the dishes and if I don't have a full load I will run a rinse and always get at least one or two items I end up washing by hand. I use the best Finish detergent and have been using the heavy cycle with extra dry and still have the same result. Wish I could send it back. Quiet, Cleans Great!

We had to pre-wash our dishes with our other dishwasher. No need on this one, it cleans great with the Finish Detergent cubes. Is very quiet.

Best purchase ever!!!

Had a very helpful sales person showing me all the features of the Bosch 46 Decibel dishwasher. The installation was done by a very capable and pleasant man sent by Lowes. Love the dishwasher - it's so quiet you have to practically put your ear to it to see if it's really running! Sleek look with the buttons on the top instead of in the front of the unit. Very pleased!

Hard to install. Parts missing.

I'm disappointed in this unit. The description on Lowes site says it includes the water fill hose, drain hose, and power line. Only the drain hose was included. I hired a professional installer however he'd never put in this model before. It had him cussing before long. It took a professional man 5 hours!!!! to install. Trust me, he wasn't happy as he wasn't being paid by the hour. I was there the entire time. I'm a pretty handy guy myself but I think I'd had kicked the door in if I was doing it...

TOO SOON TO RATE PRODUCT

JUST INSTALLED TODAY. WOULD HAVE INSTALLED YESTERDAY BUT AFTER BEING TOLD NO EXTRA SUPPLIES NEEDED BY SALES STAFF AT TIME OF SALE, WE FOUND OUT IT DIDNT COME WITH WATER HOSE, FITTINGS AND ELECTRICAL CORD. we went to Lowes looking for a white dishwasher and the other two we looked at were out of stock. The guys in the appliance department told us they would give us this one for the same price and boy am I glad. This thing is so quiet I have to check the light on the floor to make sure its running.
